Ok so I basically want to quit smoking so I decided to get an electronic cig. After tons of research I decided to go with the bloog maxx fusion (still waiting for it to arrive). I'm super excited but the carto's are pretty pricy. With shipping it's like $18 which is how much I spend on smokes a week about. I keep reading kr808 and 501 and stuff. What do they mean? And do I have to use the bloog carto's on the bloog or can I use different carto's on the bloog and try different people? Thanks!

Hello and welcome.....
the kr808 and the 510 refer to the threads on the batteries....this is so you know which cartomizers or attys that will fit. I think the Bloog has its own threads but may have an adapter to other models....look on their site under adapters....
I am sure some members will chime in that have more info than me....
:)

Bloogs are KR808 threaded--I have 3 Bloogs. I also have Vapor 4 Life KR808 batteries and cartos. Some of the cartos fit on the Bloogs, some do not. I use the Vapor 4 Life products more because they have a great selection of good juices, and Bloogs prefilled cartos do not taste good to me. I can use a V4L carto for a week--with refilling--so that is pretty economical also. I also have an Igo which is Kr808 threaded, but not all KR808 cartos fit on it either, so it is a crap shoot even tho they all should be compatible.

Theres alot of help around here just got to get past your five posts and get into the specific model forums.

Just keep in mind that buying your equipment is the easy part. Its really hard for most people to find a juice they can enjoy and that is what will turn people away right away. Id order a bunch of samples from numerous vendors to get a variety to try. Some people get lucky and find one right away, others search for awhile. Just dont give up, the air is much cleaner on the vaping side of the fence

the bloog is a KR808d-1 battery. and all cartos for a 808d-1 will fit.......there are KR808d-2 out there and they WILL NOT FIT. the threads on the 808d-2 are longer. The d-2 is mall kiosk vender stuff. If you see a vender on the EFC and they list the carto as an KR808 its gonna fit. off the top of my head some d-2 venders are greencig and lecig there are more out there.

Bloog is currently KR808D-1 threading
Vapor4Life is KR808D-1, and so is Smoketip. And I think (not sure) that Cig2O and Cig2Go may be KR808D-1
And you can buy blank KR808D-1 cartomizers

There is an almost identical looking model some other rebranders have that is incompatible kR808D-2

Note - you are getting auto batteries (because that is all Bloog sells) and autos are somewhat more in danger from juice leaks since they are totally dependent on a drag switch right inside the hole in the end of the battery. Leak enough juice there and the switch will stop working right or the battery could die. So always take a carto off the battery when adding liquid. I also do not really recommend the carto condom method where you push juice in blind. I recommend popping the cap and seeing where you are filling and cleaning it up well.

Vapor4Life has the most prefilled cartos but again - pricy shipping ($6 or 7). Definitely sign up there (lower left) so you will get sale notices. I mainly buy during sales and they have some excellent sales, often near holidays or large sports events.

Re 510 - totally different threading, not even the same gender. The most popular ecig threading, used on the most fat battery models and mods, has the most stuff (widest range of atomizers, blank cartomizers, tanks). What is deos not have much of at all is prefilled cartos
