New and Green

An hour ago I vaped too much after getting new juice and I am green. It has been 6 months of vaping and I am still trying juice and nic levels - have spent a buck or two.

I have been lurking for many months and only signed up today. I do not know one other person who vapes and have not discussed it with anyone aside from my family. I have only seen one other person vaping waiting for the bus and I live in work in the downtown St Paul. I go for happy hour at least 3 times a month in downtown Minneapolis or St Paul every month and have never seen another vapor. Maybe vapors only come out after happy hour?

Welcome WhichWitch. My personal opinion is that a lot of people hide it. They don't want attention drawn to themselves, especially the kind where someone would accuse them of doing something illegal. As for me, I want the attention because once ignorant people learn what it is, then they may help someone else, or themselves, to quit smoking. As for your juice, I bet you won't do that again...LOL. I've done it a time or two also.

Welcome WhichWitch! Vaping is still very new to most areas of the world. You're not likely to see too many people with a PV in their hand as of yet. Smoking on the other hand has been around for well over 100 years. They have had time to swell their ranks. Maybe in another 100 years vapers will be much more common to see?

I'm getting ready to plunge into my first vaping experience and have only ever heard of "friends of friends" who have tried it. If it works for me, I'll be one of "those friends" who gets some others to try it and hopefully switch as well

I don't see people vaping in public. You don't see that many smoking cigarettes these day, either. Since 75% don't smoke, the number of vapors has to be much smaller than smokers. I suppose that those who do hid it, leave it in the car, or we just don't catch them stealth vaping. Still, Walmart is selling ecigs these days at the smoker checkout, so we must be a significant market or the trends are showing more and more beginning to vape.
