New and improved 2009 DSE901

Hey guys... I just got my hands on a new DSE901 from the HealthySmokeshop. I'm still charging the batteries but it looks to be completely redesigned from previous models. First off, its got a micrphone switch like the M401's. The bad news is, thread pattern is different from other 901's so parts aren't interchangeable. It also has a redesigned cartidge and atomizer. However, from the outside, it looks the same sans being a couple mm's shorter. The big difference is that the batteries are supposed to last for about 12 hrs. each. I have my doubts, but anything over 4 will be impressive. I will post a review once I have had a chance to vape this thing.

Oh great now more parts to get mixed up on for the 901's. We have true 901's, 4075 imposter 901's and now this one. I wish suppliers would tell on their sites which parts are which!

Well... I don't own an M401... yet -but the thread patterns that I saw at another site (I think it was puresmoker) look the same as my new 901. Coupled with the fact that they have the same mic switch, they may be the same batteries. Im intersted to see how this thing performs tomorrow.

Oh great. More mic switch batteries. Hopefully they programmed not to be as sensitive as the 401's.

Hey ceo, I got new 901 batteries today (not complete sets), as we discussed on another thread. The thing is, mine have the uber sensitive switch, but work with my old charger and atomizers. They are compatible. Is there a new model prefix or suffix for the non compatible ones maybe?

Shakey - to answer your question...no. There was no model indicator on the box, e-cig, or packaging - and no instruction manual. The only way to ID it as a 901 is from looking at it. 901 carts are interchangable with it but the threads are defanitely different. The mic switch is uber sensitive like yours - but Im working on a fix for that. When I finish the review, I'll be sure to post pics to show you all the differences between this and the original 901's.
