I am going to try esmoking as I find myself getting more and more disgusted with real smokes.

After doing alittle research I have placed an initial order.
I guess it would have been better to get thoughts on this stuff first but at 2:30 am I just said to heck with it and placed the order.

I have been smoking about 18 years now and and although I try not to keep track I believe I smoke about 2 packs a day.

I have the constant cough that comes along with it and shortness of breath and wheezing. I dont find anything I really like about smoking any more and have a 1 year old as well that I would really like to quit for.

My plan is to try and use the esmoke as a substiute to ween off real smokes. and then down the road try weening off esmokes.

Ive triedquiting the real ones numerous times and its the habit I think of actually smoking thats missing in patches gum, pills etc that gets me back smoing every time. I hope this works.

I tried to order all I would need to get started. what do you think?

I, like you, never could find the guts to quit due to missing the ritual and sensation of smoking cigarettes. It was always too tough for me, and I tried the gum, patches, and the inhalers. Nothing really fit in that place.

While it's not the same, e-cigarettes, or personal vaporizers, do fill a lot of the void left by the cancer sticks. You have to adapt your schedule and ritual, but, after settling in, it was really easy for me. I hope it is the same for you!

The 801 is a solid piece of equipment. They're consistent, and perform well. Good choice.

Always remember that this is a VERY inconsistent technology, and you always need to stay stocked with plenty of spares of everything.

Also, I noticed you picked up 36mg liquid. Please go easy on the 36mg. It is the strongest dosage, and even people that are longtime smokers have a hard time with that. Be careful, and pay attention to what your body is telling you when using it. It's always smart, when starting, to shoot for the middle, dosage-wise.

I wasnt quite sure what level liquid to get and I read a couple threads about some people finding they werent getting enough nicotine though the esmoke and therefore were having a tough time to make the transfer.

I saw terraphon review of this liquid and thought as he was stating this was the closest he came to real smoke, I would give it a try. I hope it isnt too strong

Baracka I've smoked full strength Kools for 36 years. When I started ecigs I started with the 24mg strength. It was ok but I found myself wanting a little more especially when I decided I liked this ecig thing and decided to use it to try and quit smoking. Well I ordered the TW Menthol 36mg and it was a big WOW. I couldn't handle it. So I started cutting it with glycerin and it was much better. Now I use the 36 when I'm needing a higher nic hit and it works great. You just have to go easy with it. But it's helping me. I'm on DAY 6 of no analogs.

Glycerin can be bought at any craft and hobby shop in the cake decorating dept.
As for delivery time.....
I would say e-smokeytreats....about 3-4 days
eastmall....maybe 7-10 days

after looking through the forums I think I have decided to cut it with 100% USP propylene glycol. I think this was stated to be available from local feedstores.

now I guess I have to research what flavor to add to it while still trying to maintain a cig flavour where to get it locally and how much to mix.
