I'm new to the E-cig

Hello everybody!
Bought my 1st e-cig today. Not had a cigarette for 6 hours. It is going very well with numerous cups of coffee. So I've ordered a new one and a starter kit.
If you change to e-cig do you still get some of the benefits of stopping smoking? eg Breathing, coughing? I know there is not much information about Propylene glycol but it is used in foods and liquid smoke for machines.

Long and short of it, will I feel the benefits and yet be able to get the nicotine fix and the hand to mouth reassurance that I enjoy about smoking.

I bought a matchless blue in strong flavour disposable. Spent an hour wondering round pharmacies and they didn't sell them. Found a newsagent that did  so I got home, put the kettle on, cup of coffee and I was like "Right let's see what this is like then" astounded. Its got a decent (heat/ throat hit?) and nicotine equivalent to a decent roll up. So i found their website and ordered the starter kit for like £40 quid and another disposeable one incase i get technical difficulties ;)

At the moment I have been smoking like a trooper (15-25 roll ups a day) as I have been unemployed for a few months. Smoking to pass time for example. So now im going into a new job and Id like to smoke e-ciggies as there always seems to be tension or different treatments for smokers in places. (5 mins for a smoke or someone sitting talking for 10 mins) but the smoker gets the stares as they have had to leave the room

The one thing you may find is that you will quickly need a e-cig with a bigger battery that will last you thru the whole day and give you more vapour production.
But go with what you have for now.

I know what you mean about work. vaping is a godsend , I can vape at my desk instead of having to go outside.

I wish you good luck , and if you have questions , just ask .

I quit a 2-3 pack a day roll your own habit the first day, so you're well on your way.

In a few weeks, expect to start tasting things you might not have tasted for a long time.

If you've been smoking a long time, expect to notice less wheezing and better lung capacity in a few months.

Most importantly, do some research here. Spend some time here. If, for any reason, you find that your current kit isn't cutting it, DON'T go back to analogs. These things WILL work and I'm convinced that for 90% of the people who are unsuccessful, it's because they got the wrong kit for them in the first place. Be prepared to order an upgrade whether you think you will need to or not. You won't regret it. Good luck.

I haven't used my asthma inhaler in months. I no longer get out of breath going to check the mail. I can sing again! No stink, no burned holes in clothes, no spilled ashtrays, no errant cigarette cellophanes that the cats try to steal, haha! It's great. All that, and I get nicotine, too!

Your last sentence really sums it up well! And welcome to the wonderful world of vaping! :)
