I started when my Wife got me some Green Smoke. Then a friend introduced me to the wider world available. I am currently using some EVODs and Ego twist batteries. I have been thinking about taking a step up, but I am not sure where I want to go yet. juice wise, I have been using mainly stuff from Vape Wild, which I am super happy with (my fav so far is the Creme d'menthe).

You might want to look at an Innokin MVP2 and maybe some of the Kanger Aerotanks. The EVODs and Twists are pretty solid for starter gear though. Finding the right juice is probably the hardest (and most expensive part), so if you've found some you like you're already way ahead of the game.

Do you like box style mods or would you rather stick with ego-style (the pen shaped ones)?

Thank you Susan, I am glad to be here! I definitely want to rely on the wisdom of the community before I go forward as I am a "look before I leap" kind of guy.

I think I prefer ego style, there is something more comfortable in the hand. I don't know if that limits me in some way, but ergonomically, its what I would prefer. Yeah, I am very happy with the juice, I have even started mixing them to try some new flavors and barring a few mistakes :) I have liked what came out the other side. Why do you recommend those step-ups?

That's not limiting, there are plenty of tube mods out there if you ever decide to step up, and also lots of nice ego style batteries are popping up with much better lifespan and features (IPOW 2 seems like a nice step up! Variable Wattage up to 15w gives a very good range.)

I've had good experiences with Vapewild, my favorites so far are the Peanut Butter and Strawberries and Cream. Good stuff, good price. Do you have a B&M near you? B&M's can be very helpful when starting out (although that's hit or miss, but worth a shot to go see stuff and handle gear before buying)

Personally I've had bad experiences where I live with the B&M's. But that was with staff - you can always use the B&M just to get a good close up look at vape gear even if the staff is clueless. But some B&M's have "juice bars" where you can try lots of different flavors, which, even if you don't buy from them, can give you a good idea of flavor profiles you may want to order from places online.

I've not been in an Altsmoke before, but if the people seemed knowledgeable, that may be a good place to get more info. Besides here at ECF, that is.
