I have an Innokin MPV3 mod which I use with the Kanger subtank mini and I am very happy with it. I have some Aspire K1 glassomiser tanks that I bought ages ago and was wondering if I would be able to use them with this mod. The reason I am asking is I ordered juice that is 12mg in strength by mistake and am led to believe that this cannot be used in a sub ohm tank, is this the case? I therefore thought I could use the juice with the aspire and the mod, can I do this or do I need to think again?

not the case... I use 36 nic at .5 ohms at 50W... what a rush :) subohming at higher watts increases the density of the vape and also increases the amount of nic you get per puff/draw. Most people cant handle the increase of nic volume per draw with subohm and go for a reduced nic juice to avoid the chance of getting nicsic... give it a try, if you feel that it is too much nic, get a bottle of 0 nic juice ( same flavor) and mix it to reduce the nic level to something you like...

Hi and welcome to the forum.

How long have you been vaping? How many cigarettes did you smoke in a day?

If the answer to these are not long and about a pack per day then you will probably be ok using the 12 mg juice in a subohm tank. You can also get higher ohm coils for the subtank, making it essentially just a normal clearomizer with better flavor. Your body will tell you if you're getting too much nicotine. If so, lay off it for a bit and take Sir's advice by cutting it with some zero nic juice.

You can use 12mg in any tank you feel like. You can even use sub-ohm tanks at fairly normal power, which makes 12mg not so crazy. Bottom line though, I would put 12mg in a basic clearomizer (K1) and save the 6mg for the sub-ohm tank at 15-20 watts.
IF I vaped at 25 watts + then I'd go with 3mg.
I have vaped 18mg in a subtank... it wasn't very nice...
Essentially, you are on the right lines... be happy :)

The reason I was asking about the 12mg was because I did not want to use it in the sub ohm tank in case it broke it or something as I was reading that it is supposed to be used for 6mg nicotine or less, and I take it using the kanger glassomiser on the mod will not produce a very good result. I have been a smoker for many years and started vaping about 6 years ago, did this for 2 years or so and then started smoking again. I know daft but I am back and notice how much the vaping tanks, batteries have changed and have been vaping three weeks so just feel I am back on a learning curve again

With subohm tanks, you generally get more vapor. When you use a higher nicotine content juice, you simply will be inhaling more nicotine. For some, it makes such an intense throat hit, that it will cause people to start coughing.. Of course, you always have the option to lower the power to reduce the vapor, but most people who vape sub ohm tanks usually drop their nicotine content.. but that is by preferential choice. I vape 4-6mg in a 1-1.2 ohm tank.. and that is my own personal choice.

The higher nicotine has no affect on the tank physically.. it's just the throat hit and personal choice.
