i'll have to check it out. i've always used Dolphin on my smartphone. i really like it. the main features i like is you can set it to delete your history when you exit it, and the gesture feature. i hit the gesture button, draw an "E" with my finger and boom, it goes to EFC forums. you can designate any website to any custom gesture you make. oh, and it's really fast n smooth too.

If you have a good Droid, I guess anything will work. I'm using those 7" $50 tabs with jelly bean. I think they have similar Lite browsers using Chrome and others.

My e-reader (tablet) runs Gingerbread. I gave up trying to use it to access the Innerwebz ages ago. Works great for reading books, though.

I now have a phone that does pretty good with Firefox, so for the odd times I absolutely need to access the net while I'm out and about, it's not painful.

Thanks for the heads up, I'd love to browse with my tablet.
I have a modest WallyWorld NextBook Ares 8.
I did put Dolphin on it, but haven't really even used it.

My problem is, on a comp I ctrl click to open new tabs for say... each new thread. Read it, close the tab. On the tablet, I can't get used to using a press to get the pop-up, so I can select "open in new tab".

Do Leopard or Dolphin or even Chrome have a preference to make new tab the click default?

Then I could tolerate enough time on one to actually evaluate performance.

No, probably not. Got me thinking tho about this browser being open source. I wonder if it can be coded - in...
There are several of these Lite browsers, maybe one could work the way you like.
