It is finished in a smooth satiny stainless steel. It is stainless steel throughout even including the button assembly.
There are four generous vent holes at the base. You can of course use 18350, 18500 and 18650 batteries. Inside of the box is an ominous note NOT to use unprotected batteries in the mod. You should feel safe though in using IMR safe chemistry batteries in this as you do other mechanical mods. We do sell Vape Safe here at GotVapes for further protection if you wish.
