I just sense a generation gap. A lot of younger people post in different gaming forums etc, and that is how they post. I really don't think he meant to be offensive, and I believe he didn't expect the response he got to his "mod".

if its not heat resistand it will burn/smell. even the edges of a 510 cart sometimes melt a little bit.
the better solution is a stainless steel mesh like the genisis atomizer uses. some people did use it around the atomizer mesh and are very much pleased, but even there some may taste the mesh. tastes differ from person to person.

using anything like plastic near the atomizer should be avoided, it gets hot in there. no matter what plumes of vapor you produce in your video.

all in all i find your tone against others quiet offensive.

as long as the filter material doesnt actually touch the heating coil (under the bridge), then you wont risk burning it. to me, this basically looks like youre turning your atty into a mini cartomizer!

I think its a great idea, can't people understand that when they do a blue foam mod to their carts...or a ptb mod to their carts that basically they are doing the same thing? CHRIST PEOPLE ARE STUPID. this mod will probably stop the atties from flooding down through the air holes as well, seeing as everyone who drips gets floodes atties whether they like it or not. GOOD JOB MAN and if you come up with any other good ideas keep em comin'

Just watched the tutorial again man, the idea of it is perfect, delaying the need to keep dripping, this is a direct drippers dream. I'm gonna make a setup for my atty right now with some stuff I've got kicking around. The funny thing about this is, that if any direct drippers have ever debridged an atomizer, they would know that this mod won't allow the spong to hit the coil unless they jam it down there with a steaknife. A nice press fit and your vapin away nice nice.

This mod works very well.I was looking for a cart mod 3weeks ago came across his post tried it ,been using it ever since, nothing has burned.had to get used to a drip tip but I love the combo

Thank you froginblender! I'm new to vaping and the forum, but your idea makes a lot of sense and I'm going to try it tonight. If it works, its a simply and cheap fix for the dripping (overdripping), leaking problems I've been having and if it doesn't, I'm out a fraction of a cent worth of blue foam (as long as I try it on an old atty).
