Mut X and dark horse is mostly for clouds tug boat for flavour and the plume and atty will give you best of both that's jst my opinion tho
Yeah I knew that Mutation x was for clouds but I thought that flavor out of dark horse was decent. I have no experience with tug boat yet but I had both versions of plume veil (v1 and v1.5) and absolutely loved version 1.5 but screwed up last night and fried it. Hence why I'm out on the hunt for a new atty.

Anyone else got experience whether good or bad with any of the above?

What about doge v2?

I've got a Doge V2. It's got massive airflow with a 1/2" bore for the drip tip and it chucks huge clouds. Build quality is decent, but it doesn't feel as solid as other attys out there. If you're prioritizing flavor over vapor, then I'd look elsewhere.

Plume Veil v1.5
Tugboat v2
Dark Horse
Hobo
Tobh
Mutation x

for flavor and cloud options, the Dark Horse would be first recommendation. then the Hobo. Both have several air optinions. Hobo is hardest to build on IMO.

Literally, if you pick any of those, you're gonna be satisfied. you know though, if you throw down 30$, you can pick 3 clones from fasttech...just sayin.

I have a Tugboat, and it's fine. Y'all are probably going to laugh, but I am enjoying my Kanger Subtank Mini more than anything else I own!
I can drip at home, but also take it on the go with ease. The flavor, and vapor are amazing. Yes, it only goes down to 0.5, but it's perfect...not too hot. I hate scorching hot vapor, and my Tugboat can vape too hot with dual coils.

I have used TOBH 2.0, Doge, Mut X v1, and a couple others not on the list. For me, I would give the most options to the Mut X, since it has multiple ways to control airflow. I did not care for building on the TOBH around the airflow control and the top cap kept falling off, but they improved both of those on the 2.5, so if you go that route get that one. I prefer to be able to taste my juice, but cloud comes first to an extent. My Doge is getting the most use, but my newest one (Baal) sits on top of my mech the most, as well as my CEO on top of my box, because 1ohm coil at 70 watts has surprised me quite a bit and I love to vape on it and laugh when people ask about my build lol!

dark horse atty is poop. the giant widebore driptip and the inability to restrict the airflow much paired with a shallow juice well is just outdated and outperformed by newer attys now. :2c: The mutation X can be good for flavor and clouds if you get the V1 with the straight topcap fins, because with that you can restrict airflow to one hole on each side and get better flavor from dual coil builds. The others I have no experience with but if you are going to get a new atty id suggest getting one that has a wide range of airflow (tight restricted to wide open), and one with a interchangeable driptip, I find myself using my 'big widebore driptip' only attys less and less, because of the fact that im not able to use a 510 drip tip on it if I dont want to wrap my lips around a giant tube tip.

The only difference between a doge v1 and v2 is the post size. The top cap parts are interchangeable. If you want flavor use the original top cap with a wide bore 510 drip tip. The 1/2 inch "comp" cap is just for cloud chasing. That being said the doge is basically a Tobh that a local shop owner I know redesigned with a one piece deck/ neg posts after having several tobh posts break and a bit deeper well. It's a good atty with lots of options.

What makes you like vertex over plume? Just curious since I've never used it :)

Well just speaking on the particular ones i have.
Plume is rather hard to get the wires secure , constantly either crunching them or they're not secure enough.
Plume sounds loud and the time from my wick getting dry to going dry is very short.
Vertex even with same type of build and wicking and same watts and same juice gives me more vapes and more vapor and better taste and the wicks seem to take longer going from getting dry to actually being dry. Not that i take it to dry if you get my point.
When first using the vertex I was waiting for it to get a bit dry and go add juice but it kept going. Plume would have got dryer then harsh.
Vertex for me is more airy but it doesn't make you feel like if your wick gets too dry then instant harshness like the plume.

I hate being the guy that recommends something thats not on your list...but look into the Aeolus RDA. It's amazing. Nice airflow, great flavor and plenty of vapor. It has a deep juice well and the air comes from the top...making it very leak resistant. It's my new favorite...it even bumped the Marquis from the top spot in my rotation.

Of the attys you mentioned...I'd say the tugboat. Tugboats are just plain great attys.
