New AVS Question

I have the latest version of the AVS and am waiting for my new GGTS (second one, first one is first generation) to be delivered. I've taken a look at Imeo's AVS videos and an extension is shown for the 510 atomizer. Not the connection end but at the mouthpiece end.

Is the extension required and if so why don't I have one?

This is the new AVS that comes with only the 510 connector. I'm just curious if the extension is needed. If it is I'm not going to be able to use AVS until I get an extension. It didn't come with the AVS. Thanks Ggero!

Thanks Imeo. There was no mention of the extension being included with the AVS when I purchased it and there was nothing in the package the AVS came in other than the AVS itself. The AVS is the newest one you have out with the 510 connector only. It's not a separate 510 converter that's shown with an extension included with the product. Since Rob is out of stock for the 510 connectors with the extension I doubt if he has the extension only in stock and that's all I need. Besides the new GGTS that's supposed to arrive sometime this week from your Greek retailer.

Since it looks like it'll be awhile before I'll be able to use my AVS without the extension is it possible to cut down a 510 mouthpiece to fill in until I can get the extension?

Now all I have to do is remember where I left my Xacto kit. I put it somewhere so I'd remember where it'd be when I need it again. No all I have to do is remember where that place s! I have an old brass drip tip that I haven't used in quite awhile. I'll play with that too.

I've heard that he's good at that. If I lived in the U.S. I'd probably have what I need fairly fast. Unfortunately it takes a couple of weeks for mail to get to my APO address here. Oh well, I think I remember how to be patient.

Same here. Ordered AVS but forgot about extension for 510, and somehow i doubt
they will send it with avs. ...And now when i look i only have steel drip tips and they
probably be very hard to cut.

put the mouthpiece end in a vice and use a dremel with cut off wheel or even a fine tooth hack saw.

that's why I said to put it in a vice...won't matter if your mark it up or crush a little the end that your going to discard anyways

Rob got back to me. Extension is on the way. It'll probably be here before my GGTS is, but I'm still going to play around with cutting down mouthpieces to make the AVS work. Doesn't seem that extra extensions are anywhere in anyone's inventory for sale. If I ever lose the one that comes with the AVS I'll have something to use.

My wife's uncle is a retired metal worker with a full machine shop. I'll let him worry about digits with the metal tips I have. Lots of luck zuTuma!

I also did not see those extension for sale except on VK but only
with whole 510 connector and they don't ship to CRO.
So there's only one thing for me to do...But i don't worry, and i'm shure
that i will remain with enough fingers to suck on my GG

AVS did not arrive yet. I just assumed it come without extension.
So this is great info
