New Batts = More Throat Hit?

In the past, I was having issues with the vapor production of the old carts as many of you have problly experienced.

I started out using 8mg carts and that was fine but around 4 days of vaping and no smoking, I started to really need a smoke. It just wasnt satisfying me anymore so I was told to bump up to 18mg. I did. But that order, had the empty carts. I had probly 6 packs that were dead. Each cart lasted me a total of 20 puffs and was dead. The vapor production was also almost non existent.

These problems seem to be fixed now.

But I am under the impression that the new one logo auto batts have awesome vapor production. Will they make the 8mg carts hit harder? Or should I continue to go with the 18?

I need clouds of vapor to satisfy me while quitting but I dont know if the new batts are gonna kill me in 18mg...

BTW... I smoke Marlboro Mentols and at a pack and a half a day.

I have been away from vaping for awhile and there is so much new stuff and changes, I wanna make sure I quit for good this time.

Good questions and glad to hear you are tryng to remiain tabacco free.

To be honest, I might not be the best person to offer advice, given I am only just over 40 days off of analogs, but i will throw in my 2 cents.

I was a smoker for 23 years, started when I was pretty young and was roughly like you a pack in a half smoker of Camel lights. After reading all the people here with some of their experiences, I placed my first order with normal manual batteries at 24 mil. I found that I was vaping a lot and going through carts pretty fast, and on my next order i went up to 36 mil, and noticed that i was vaping a lot less then with the lower mil carts. I have stayed on 36 since and everything seems to be ok.

I have since moved over to the wow carts and juice from the premium given the extra vapor and TH that the wow gives over the premium, but i do have some premium carts that still produce lots of vapor like blueberry and grape, but I stick with the wow carts when i order for the most part. Given that I am on 36 mil, all my carts generally give a strong TH but the WOW carts really are the best.

I do not know about it being better with the XL batteries, but if it is, all i can say is aswome, i am ordering 2 XL batteries on my next order, I just dont know how much better it can get, given the wow products are just spectacular.

In my quest keep that new battery feeling I had two paths and I took them both. USB Passthrough and Massive Battery. Of the two, I find I prefer to a large extent the massive battery. I use an 18650 3000mah battery which doesn't start to feel weakened until the morning of the third day since charge (heavy vaping). As to the vapor production I have tried a lot of the carto styles and various atomizer sizes, there is one I keep going back to. The 510 atty and direct dripping. It's nice to just fill a carto and use it for hours, but long before its running dry the awesome is gone. With cartridges I found the same. I would top off the cartridges constantly in order to keep the thing running at peak performance. As much as I would like the others to work, they just aren't as consistant an experience as this one. Once the thing is consistant, you may find that 24 or 18 work fine. The issue for me was that a variable amount of liquid was being vaporized with the other setups. With drip it always acts as though it is brand new.

I recommend dripping and 510 to my relatives and friends, at least until something better comes out.

Gotta disagree on that one! I feel like I wasted my money on the 510. You do have to fill the cartos more often than "they tell you to" for peek performance but its not ever 2-3 drips like a 510. OMG EVERY 3 DRIPS!!! THATS NUTS!!! WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT!! Not to mention the sacrifice of flavor!!!

I'm sticking with V4L as I wish I always had. What a waste of $ that 510 was and the juice from the other shops stink also, in my opinion!!! Too thick and too bland!!

When I choose to drip into my V4L premium or cool cartos I usually get 10-15 drops in, when an empty carto takes 32 drops. So its true...you still have to add juice to get the full flavor...but not CONSTANTLY like you do with the 510!!

RE: THE BATTS AND THE TH:
Nic level is nic level. What ever level you used before is what I would use now. At least at the beginning. When I started vaping they still only had the old school cartos and the old school batts...so thats what I started on. I now have all the new gear. Still love my old batts (cherish them) but gave all my old school cartos away when they came out with the premiums and the cool carts. I do use new style batts every day. I have cut down one - two notchs since starting vaping in my nic level but I only attribute that to personal effort. Started at 11 and 18. Now at 11 and 8. I don't think it has to do with the cartos or the batts.

When you are quitting analogs don't short yourself on nic unless the nic level seems too high for you. When I was first quitting I had one batch of 36mg and always had a 36mg carto with me for emergency cravings. Those 36mg cartos cut that craving RIGHT OUT!!! I highly recommend this tactic for new vapers who have quit analogs completely.

Good luck Luma!! You may want to change your signature because it is sort of confusing when it says you have been vaping for 8 months...and quit 4 days ago....LOL
AND TRY THE PEPERMINT WOWVAPOR JUICE...the pepwow cartos are pink so INSTEAD: get some blank premium cartos and/or cool cartos (I personally like switching it up) and get the pepwow juice. That way you can pick the color of your carto. Same diff between pre-filled and blank in my opinion in performance. I was a marl menthol smoker too. Peppermint would be my first suggestion and a totally different kind of menthol is Kamel Menthol you may also really like.

VAPE ON AND GOOD LUCK!!! STAY STRONG!!

I smoked a pack a day of Camel Menthol Lights and when I started vaping about a month ago I started with 24 mg. It seems to do it for me there were a couple times the first few days where I went for an analog because I was super stressed about some other stuff going on but after that it was all good. As far as flavors, I totally agree with Stoked on the WOW Peppermint and the Kamel menthol is one I use daily as well. I also enjoy the Smilin Menthol. I usually have a cart or two of those three on me at all times. I think after I use up all the juices that I have I will step down to 18 and see what that does. It won't be for some time though as I still have quite a bit left. It is probably better to start with a stronger one because you can always cut it with some plain PG or weaker juice.

Hey Luma, how've ya been? Glad you're back. As far as the nic level, I found when quitting 18mg was ideal for me. I now order 18 and 11. I use the 11 when I first wake up..then when I find myself really having an urge for a cig I pop on an 18 and that does it for me. Guess what I'm saying is don't drop nic levels too fast. The next one below 18 would be 11, not 8. Once you're on 11 regularly and find that it's satisfying (for a while, not just a day or 2) then you might want to drop to 8...order 11 AND 8...and do the same thing. That way eventually you'll wean yourself down to 0.

Pack of MLs per day for me for many years. Began with 11mg but soon moved to 18mg, which worked great for me. About 2 cartos per day, and after the first couple of weeks, I've never struggled a bit really. Almost too easy really.

My advice is the usual: do whatever you need to do to stay off the cigs. If you need some 24 or 36mg to do that, go for it. Once you're free, you can lower levels much more easily. At least that's what some of us here have learned and shared. Good luck.
