A major shift in the government’s anti-smoking policy has been quietly announced, allowing nicotine products to be sold as a long-term substitute for smoking, not just as an aid to quitting.

This is a smoke and mirror screen to make the government look like they are doing something to help smokers while behind the scenes they are still bringing about the ban on ecigarettes; which are to date the most effective and safest combination of any cessation product on the market. The anti smoking policy that is referred to in the above article is aimed at using approved nicotine patches, approved inhalators, drugs ect; which are going to be reclassified as long term use products instead of short term use products.

If you look on ECF at the top of the home page there is still petition and surveys links for us and the UKers to fight the proposed ban.

This imagined shift that the UK government says it is taking is being used to detract us from the e-cigarette issue, the UK along with every other democratic government in the world do not want e-cigs to be approved because of lost tax dollars.
