I'm new but not really new. I had made an account here and was an active member for a bit as TornadoTwist. I and my husband fell back to the stinkies almost a year ago now. We have gotten tired of the horrid coughs, smelly clothes and wasted money, and so now we are back at vaping. My old cheap ego-T fell apart on me and so I ordered the new Vamo V5 with 1-2 Kanger protank mini's and a Kanger protank 3. I have juice from MBV that have been steeping for almost a year, so they should be good and ready to go when the new mod comes in. I also put in a few orders at Vaper chef, Five pawns, and AIV. Hopefully this is something we can stick with this time. The husband also purchased the Smok SID with a drip atomizer and a vivi nova glass tank. After all this $$$ i hope we both finally have set up's that will last a while and we won't have to worry about the batteries falling apart. Cheers!

Vape on!

Thanks KY_Rob! I don't use the vivi nova, in fact it was my husband's but he is going to RDA's/RBA's now. I will be using a few wickless CE5's since they are pretty inexpensive, and my protanks which are BDC as well I believe.. I will be putting an order in for the Russian 91% next month I think, and will call it a day lol. I like variety, so we will see. Once my vape mail comes in that I have been impatiently waiting for, I will take pictures. As of now, my husband and I are sharing his SID and drip atty.

I must've had a brain cramp, because all I saw was vivi-nova. You clearly stated more and otherwise. Sorry 'bout that :D

You're going to really like that R91! It makes a phenomenal vape! I own an R91 and a Kayfun Lite +, and personally I like the R91 better. I waited for quite a while before getting into rebuildables, and like everything else with vaping I regret not doing it sooner. Glad to see you're giving it go!

I'm nervous about it, but I have friends who vape and use rebuildables, and my husband does them now as well, and of course I have ECF for guidance when I need it. I bought the protank 3 just to give them a whirl, and some of my juices can ruin the plastic/polycarbonate atomizers. I REALLY want the R91 lol, my husband doesn't think I need it, but I tend to let it go in one ear and out the other, after all, I got him started on vaping when he told me it would be a waste of time and money......I bought an Ego-T kit as a starter last year, and after he tried it a few times he was sold on the whole vaping idea lol. I will likely be buying 2 R91's since that seems to be the route usually taken with him.

I just hope that this time I bought setup's that I will like and find enjoyable. My Ego-T and CE4's leaked non stop, batteries always came unglued and apart, had one battery fried by the charger, literally went up in flames. I may have been gone for almost a year, but I still followed the vaping life and the new things that have came out. I am in the process of putting together another list for next month. I really want the MVP 2.0, the Nautilus, and well the list goes on. I always have to buy in 2's because usually my husband likes what I buy and will try and steal them from me lol.

I think you'll be fine initially. Just don't expect extreme longevity from the Vamo. Durability isn't their strong point.

If you're ever looking for direct recommendations, I'd be happy to help. Just let me know ;)

I am hopefully adding an SID to the mix as well in case the Vamo craps out on me, I always have a backup or 2 on hand. My husband has the SID now and I like it fairly well, took some time getting used to all of the functions and how to get what I wanted settings wise. I thought a Provari would be nice, but had the chance of borrowing one from a friend and I really didn't see why it was over $200. I may order a Zenesis clone, or a Hades clone, but I haven't decided yet on those either. To me a mod is a mod, they are all the same though I do know that they are each very different.

I would LOVE a recommendation on a mod that will actually last me a while. My Ego-T lasted me all of 3 months, granted I paid less than $50 for the kit, it still irritated me to no end at how poorly they held up, and the fact that I went through 4 of them in less than 6 months, made my first vaping experience very irritating lol.

Welcome back!

Today has been especially tough for me some reason, but I'm sticking with it. Just remember to stick with it when you get those "wanting to go back to analogs" moments.

And I say when, because, well.. you will eventually have those moments. (more than likely)

Good luck and congratulations! :)

Thanks prime! I know all about the wanting analog's while vaping. It was hard the first time but after the first month it wasn't as bad. I think the reason it was so difficult is because a lot of our friends smoked stinkies. I don't like analog's to be honest, weird for a smoker to say, but I do not enjoy it. If I can find a good reliable vape, and juices I actually like, I think it will be far easier this go around than last time.
