Hey everyone,

Looking for > tips tricks from Canadian users who use or have experience with blu e cigs.

Originally my plan was to quit smoking fully and go onto these, but after finding out its impossible to get nicotine carts in canada I am back smoking and using my blu atm for just a substitute to help me cut back from my pack a day of cigarette habbit.

Im into this now for over 200$ so I kinda dont want to buy a different cig....

I wish I could get my hands on vanilla 16mg nicotine carts. I can only find classic tobacco and i am way overpaying like 30$ for a 5x pack when they go for 13$ online!

I was wondering if there is a way for me to fill up my old carts to be similar to a vanilla type flavor juice with a medium nicotine content perhaps around 10mg to 14mg.

I want an ecigarette similar to a cigarette. I have been told Jet, but still Canada doesn't sell prefill carts so either way I still need a way to fill these up.

I have spent 30$ on gas and a 100$ sale price plus tax to buy my original pack that came with 5 classic tobacco carts 16mg.

Then today I went on a mission to the city, Richmond Hill, Markham and then Toronto, and was able to find only classic tobacco pack 16 mg at one store I paid 30$ for 1 and bought a 0mg vanilla pack for 25$ :/. So I know have at least 15 carts, ten with 16 mg of nicotine and 5 vanilla o mg carts. I have spent almost 230$ so far for just my pack and 15 carts and gas money. :/ I need some help LMAO! < ugh:mad:

I think the majority of the tips you will get is to cut your losses with the BLU cig right away. Beginners mistake...many of us fell for the adverts. Lesson learned for you.

Even if you stick with it, you will almost certainly outgrow the limitations of said product. welcome to the forums, and I am sure you will find something else.

Most find first love with a basic EGO/tank setup...then sort out their needs from there. It really shouldnt be a huge additional investment.

Good luck.

ehyo thanks man,

So I honestly am just understanding the blu is a standard 510 battery, I want to keep the feel of a cig size at least, I dont mind purchasing alternate or diff carts, as long as they fit my blu battery, Im sure alot of trial and error and stubborness and wasted money is the only way to learn.

For now where do you think the best place online is for me to find carts that I can order and fill up that fit the blu 510 battery...?
I also need some knowledge on liquid nicotine shippers in canada, since atm I have no clue where to even begin.... All I wanna do is Vape Vanilla flavoured 12-20 mg nicotine out my blu 510 battery but Im such a noob <

Canada Suppliers:

Canada Suppliers

If Blu is 510 compatible (it wasn't back in the day, but maybe they changed), Most places sell the carts pretty cheaply, if they sell them at all. Should be able to snag a good deal on them at many of the vendors. As to where, I cant say exactly. i havent used 510 carts in years.

I say this honestly, don't get too married to BLU. I know you want the feel of a real cigarette when you first start (almost all of us probably do), but I can't think of one person who stuck with a cigarette sized model very long. Battery life and overall performance/reliability along with price come into play.

If we had EGO batts and mini tanks when I first started, my journey would have been a lot different.

... maybe im wrong then... [edited] !

Do you know anything about Jet ? apparently they fit blu batteries,

But again Im not sure what carts are refilable which arent, I assume the ones that are refilable you purchase empty. Also I am not sure about the resistance or whatever, because I know the blu cig battery is a little less powerful than most other common ecigs...? At least from what i have learned from reading on the forum the last day or two..

again, pure noob here bro< lmao #salute for the tips eh!

Hi, WW, and Welcome to ECF!

I will say that you really ought to graduate to clearomizers - tank-style heads that you fill with your own liquid. Also, you might really want to get manual batteries - ones with a button you press rather than ones that respond to your inhales. Blu's are perhaps "The best of the worst" in that they aren't anywhere as bad as most of the other cigalikes, but there's SO much stuff out there that's better.

So get over to the Canada forum, and they'll point you to places where your money will be better spent!
Edit (Oops, do I feel like an idiot!!!!!!!! Thought this was in "New Members"!)

Good luck! I hope you find something you love!

Yep your in the right forum mate.

You can still acquire 510 batteries from many places online, like Canvape or NicFitNation in BC, u then should buy some empty carto's to go with the batts, and a charger cable a wall plug and some juice to your liking and fill as u please, this keeps u on the cigalike range.

Eroll also makes a nice little kit, u can also get 808d kits.

Canvape has a fleamarket location near Barrie, the 400 fleamarket I believe. They usually carry many juices and cigalike starter kits. U can join their FB page and enquire as to availability, and Canvapes website. To see their liquids u need to set up an account.

I know 3 people who will not Vape anything else but Joytech 510 cigalikes and I'm the one who gets their supplies for them since they are friends. So your not alone in the cigalike world.

Hope that helps a bit, just google Canvape or NicFitNation both are good companies.....

If u need anymore help please ask.

Hey man awesome! that's exactly what I needed> Cool that it's located at the 400 flea! On my way back from the city today I drove right past it but it was past 6 oclock and they where closed down.

Um one thing... Can I buy empty cartos to fill up with juice thatll fit my blu batteries? I dont mind having to buy a next diff type of battery but Id like to get some miles out of the blu since im into it for so much $ already for a cigalike vape...

If not Ill do some research into the places you suggested and also check out the 400 next weekend for sure!!! I still have 8 16 mg carts for my blu cig left a 5 0 mg vanilla carts to vape after I blaze > The nicotine carts I like to vape to help cut back on my regular pack a day cigarettes, since vaping this nicotine im down to like 4-5 smokes a day. I actually think im getting too much nicotine now lmao! but at least im smoking less ........ thats in cigarette smoke right.

thanks for the help> def Ive been so clustered and lost so to have a bit of experienced local direction really helps> plus everyone else, even personal friends are pushing me onto bigger vapes and it just isnt for me tbh. :) im a cig guy

Also I should add, ok I see this Eigate808d starter kit right, but it says the battery is 180maH now okay I know my blu is 280mAh and the older blus are 180mAh, now when buying carts right, do certain carts go better with lower and or higher battery powers?... And also what and or how does the liquid juice affect this? Do you have to use different strengths or types of juice if you are using a higher level cart with a lower battery ect...? this is kinda what id like to understand more, the science with battery powers vs cartomizer resistance or strengths... I dont want to like cooked my blu battery right...

If any of that makes sense lmao ^^^ [edited]

Im really liking this one if I will have to switch and get a new kit It is between the two you suggested for sure,

Eigate 808D-1 Supreme Kit 180 or 280mAh SEALED automatic

Genuine Joyetech eRoll Kit

So I guess my question now would just be, should I buy a new kit or buy just a cart for a kit like this and see if it fits onto my blu ecigs.? if they do Im good to go right?

If Not I will def pick up one of these two kits above>>>

I'm not sure about the blue threading but will look into it.

Remember 808 and 510 are not compatible. Stick with 510, there's just more options way more.

Also battery mah is mainly the length a battery will last but it does vary. So,it won't fry your ecig, your ok to go there.

The Eroll kit or Joytech 510 batteries are what u should aim for, this way if u upgrade to an ego device your carto's will still work on the ego battery, as they're 510.

It's unfortunate you had to start with BLU, however it lead u here so that's the great part. Keep your BLU as a backup.

Backups are your best friend, should something go wrong..... Also drink lots of water as Vapeing does dehydrate you.

From what I've read the BLU are indeed 510 threaded, buy some 510 carto's, liquid and enjoy.

But do get the Eroll or Joytech batteries as a backup. But that's up to you.

Please keep us informed here as to how your getting along.

I know you don't want to throw away what you've already invested, but you're going to anyway so why make it worse? Take your time and spend a week or two browsing the forum to get a good idea of what's available and what the veterans prefer. We all have a pile of useless junk that we bought early on when we were ignorant, wishing we knew then what we know now. Learn from everyone else's mistakes. They know what they're talking about.

Forget the Canada forum for now. Just click new posts at the top and browse, browse, browse. You'll be amazed.

I started with a blu and fell in love. 30 days later I started to experience the short comings of the blu. First, the battery (standard 3.7v) drops voltage quickly. Once it drops it doesn't efficiently vape the juice in the standard cartomizer (3.5 ohm). Second, the drag on the carto is hard! Can't get a decent puff! But I liked the cig like feel and it's stealthiness. So I was torn. I improved the blu experience with boge replacement cartos ( at 2.0 ohm nice powerful vape but drains those bats in 10 minutes) and that improved drag as well I could refill.

I have moved on to an ego-c twist and mini ego battery. I used up all my old cartos from blu, even refill those a few times. The carto on the mini ego is nice and small, fits in my pocket and hand without looking like a vibrator . Now I have boge 2 ohm cartos that I refill 10 times on the go and a kanger mini pro v3 tank for home. It's not a cig like but I am over the blu. I keep the blu around as a novelty and fire it up on occasion.

Many sites sell blu like batteries (auto drag) that fit 510 cartos, so if you are attached to the cig like. That would work.

Maestro is right, spend 5 hours on the forums and you will figure out what you need! Lots of great info. Had I first found the forum I would have never bought a blu.

I read the first response you got; so I apologize for being repetitious if I am.
First congrats on trying to quit. Second; I'm sorry you went with Blu.
To answer your immediate question yes the cart can be refilled; it's a pain in the keester. You pop off the little cap by the mouth hole and drop a few eliquid drops along the sides avoiding the center pin. After a few refills though it becomes unusable and u gave to replace the cart. This just gives it a title longer life.

I'm not one of those guys that's gonna tel you cigalikes suck; or, get this not that. I've tried them; I didn't enjoy it; and went to something else. What's important is you want some that is not a cigarette.and that's all that is important.
That said - when the blu failed me I went to a joyetch product that is fairly similar and worked allot better for me. And I still use it once in a while when I'm feel nostalgic.
It's called an eroll. I will put a link below for a review and joyetech site. It's not a bad little unit. Tastes allot better than a blue: and you just fill its tank with juice- no carto to worry about.
If you do decide to try it thigh; get yourself an extra "atomizer come for $2.00 this lets you have two setups running one In the charter and one you're using. Good luck in whatever you decide and congrats again.
