That's an understatement. Many place coke (cola) is more expensive than beer 8-o.I'm an INCREDIBLY expensive date to boot Switched..all I drink is Coke.

You went for a tobacco flavour which is normal for anyone who starts vaping. I doubt that you will find anything suitable (tobacco flavour) in the beginning.
I had luck with RY4. Presently I vape most of the tobacco flavours and Virginia is one of my favourites.

I chose it because it does seem to be one people like. I just found the after taste to be quite strong for me and didn't like that it hung around so much. At least with that flavour.

Inked, the longer you vape, the more your tastebuds will return to normal. Hang on to the juice you don't like...you may revisit it again down the road.

I was thoroughly enjoying my RY4 until BornAgainst sent me a carto full of Tasty Vapor's Atomic Cinnacide! 
It's like vaping Dentyne Cinnamon gum..it's THAT good.
Then, I tried TV's Tastyfinger, which, to ME, tastes like chocolate milk. (Born's probably to blame for THAT one too..no, he was no where around at the time, but mostly everything that costs me money is his fault..gotta blame SOMEONE!!)
Mix the two of THOSE together and NIRVANA!!!
Next time Jack throws together a group of nutbars, make sure you're there and you'll get to sample a LOT of different flavors!!

Cherry tastes nice, not WOW amazing.. but good
Virginia, to me was quite weird. Almost like wet hay in the after taste lol.

Rob from Vapables is the place to go. He's fast and friendly. Also, hes one of the rare Canadian vendors who has some MADE IN CANADA juices, and that's something to note and support.
555 is a lighter, full flavored nutty tobacco that is real popular. It's not the sweet flavor associated with many RY4 variants. I tell people it tastes like dirt covered peanuts, and thats not far from the truth. It's an excellent, excellent tobacco vape.
Almond Horn is sold by TastyVapor, and it's something else. I hated it when I got it, but let it sit for a week, and I Suck back 3 ml a day. It's like vaping an almond cookie, but better.

I DO agree with BA about the vanilla/chocolate vapes, most of them are just SO artificial tasting...a good chocolate vape is TV's Tastyfinger, IMHO, it DOESN'T taste much like a Butterfinger bar, (yes, I FINALLY had one! Whooo hoooo for me!), but it DOES taste like chocolate milk.
