new clear Ithaka windows and new ready wires

I have to say that Ithaka's capacity is still the same even if new clears have smaller internal hole because of a small trick I made inside the clear window
I guess there is somebody that wants the two clear windows that are in the mail to me right now there the cool thin ones

Great2 people asked me why the external diameter of new clear window is bigger than the previous windows. But its not. External diameter stays the same
Imeo is this the big surprise or is there a different one? The way you made it seem, there was a bigger surprise for Ithaka owners that you didn't want others to copy 1st...
of course not my dear. This is not a surprise at all. This is just a replacement window to solve some problems and the ribbon wire that we can use from now on if we like.

I hope you made it with more air flow and one channel a little bit lower on the ceramic dual coil easier in x mode
It's 1.5 OHm

Wanted to share with you my expirience on the first built I made with ready ribbon wire:
I made a simple built single coil with this ribbon wire
(I like it simple more easy when I run few Ithakas with different juices).
Wrapping:
Easier then the regular wire.
More soft on the wick so it's not turn too tight or too loose,very easy to control.
It make more wrap for the same ohms 6 full wraps for 1.5 ohm.
The contact on the wick is even greater then those 6 wraps becouse it's flat,it's equal more
Wraps of regular wire.
Taste:
Clean,very clean and vape is atomized much finer,and much faster,without being too hot.
This is just the first built and I will see how long it will last and how it will perform in the long run.
But after the taste it's look there is no going back to regular wire.
the juice just taste,better and there are subtle notes of flavors that were not there.
not day and night just more nuance.

Ribbon wire is great been using it every since my last trip to the Philippines in April I like it a little hotter in the Ithaka so my bottom wire is 32kanthal and the top wire is ribbon wire its the best of both worlds for me glad u like it there are alot of different wires out there we should try then all lol
I use x mode dual coil with flat ribbon kanthal successful .6-.7 ohms with 2mm wick from Vassilis (one that comes whit Ithaka)
Is a little hotter on Ithaka for the chain vapers

I had an Idea that I wanted to test in last days,so in the end I gave it a try.
wanted to try micro coil but don't have time in mid' week to make time consuming
Builds.
And as I already post few times I running some 6-8 Ithakas in parallel and figure this
kind of built wont do for me.
So I tried something different that take very short time.
First I put inside the Ithaka rebuildble the old taller nut in close position.
as I felt this will suit me more for this thing I look after.
Ribbon wire coil as micro coil or tin coil what ever this called:
I took 2 2.5mm silica wick,and made single coil on 2 wicks Imeo style.
But I round the ribbon wire loops very close to each other touching as close as I could!
Becouse it's flat it was more easy,and cover enough part of the wick.
It made 4 full loops,but to keep them very close like this I needed to make from each side
One more turn of the NR wire so the R coil won't get separate,but won't be also on top of the other.
Then I put on the mod to see how it glows.
Guys It glows from the inside and very fast and even glow.
Then I Fill e juice close the tank and baaaaam, 2 times the amount of vaper,
Without effort full flavor.
I built two more like this ( with the old nut ).
The house is full of vapore
my wife ask me "hi what you are up to I cannot see a thing
Ha ha ha
I told her all is fine open the window.
I never tried micro coil guys,only read your post,
But I cannot handle more vapor then this thing pumping with out adding some blowers
To the house, it's like seating in a sauna,and vapor is soft without harshness.
This built take no time very easy and vape fluffy dens clouds like steam turbine,
perhaps the old center nut contribute to this performance.
This pre made wire suite me just fine.
It's very pleasant surprise I didn't thought this will make such a difference but it does.

I must admit need to change my habit to return to Ithaka mode and silica wick 3mm
in the last months I use exclusively Kanthal A1 Ribbon wire 0.1x0.5 and ekowool silica 3mm wick ,even if 3 is much thicker and does not fit in Ithaka
currently Ithaka limits you a little my personal settings no it would not be good ,looks and works very well , other atty seem to be underdeveloped compared to Ithaka
so far the best option for me is x mode dual coil .7ohms
