few hours with the cotton and the ribbon micro coil,
took to put in written words
what am I missing!
The TH is perfect
The wicking perfect
The taste maybe too prefect.
I took the other Ithaka with silica and ribbon micro coil opened it (from the bottom)
Rains it under water, dry it with a paper towel, and dry burn it,real good.
until all ribbon loops become blue clean, without any left overs
of what ever left over the juice usually generate from the process of vaping.
When I dry burn it I prob the ribbons coil to make sure the coil preform "micro"(glowing from the middle)
And put it back in the tank.
The all thing took 2 minutes.
Then I vape the Ithaka with the regenerated micro coil with silica wick,it vape as new.
And the Ithaka with the cotton and ribbon micro coil.
The cotton wick better taste cleaner and generate more vapor.
But I prefer the feel I got from the silica with micro coil.
It took me some hours to figure why.
It's hard to put feel in to words but I'll do my best.
So here we go: Because the wicking property of the silica it get something like a bit dry in the end of the draw
And the vapor become a bit warmer and it hit harder at the end (maybe),there is a kind of closing circle???
Crazy but that's how I feel it (or put it in words ),and the taste is less cleaner but more like I want it???
Total e crazy.
With the cotton there is a feel that the wick is always fully saturated and the vapor taste like drink???
I found my self vape 3 long draws in continuation to make the vapor a bit dry and warm,
And the TH was there all the time,I feel like I fight with it.
So so go figure.
Any way I'm glad I tried it and understand what others like about it,but for me it's missing the edge
It's more like taste liquid in drink then to vape it similar to analog,I still crave the feel(not the analog in any way),
The bit of dryness warm at the end of the draw.
So back to single micro ribbon coil on 2 wicks silica,
That once in 3 days need to regenerate like I describe.
So 2 minute build, every 3 days 2 minute clean (water and dry burn and probing the ribbons).
That's the way I do this:
Making the loops very close so they make contact one with the other and make one more turn of
NR wire on the coil to hold everything in place.
Put it in the rebuildable part like so:
Then fire it on the GG to make sure it's glow come from the middle out and not
The opposite you can see in the picture that the most glowing part is the middle:
Not the biggest picture but that what I come up for now.
After 2 or 3 days or more (depend on vaping) cleaning 2 minutes.
And don't get me wrong about the cotton,it's just like maybe a beer sometimes we prefer it bitter,
Taste is very complex thing.
