So I purchased a bunch of these coils and kept some for myself and 15 I shipped overseas for an ailing family member trying to quit.

I also ordered these tanks from the same seller who has been very helpful.

The coils that came with the tank fit perfect, the coils that came in the blister pack, wont seat in all the way. They're are a few thousands of an inch off, and no matter how hard you push down they just wont go.

My fear is that the shipment I sent overseas and if these T3s coils are known for inconstant size issues. Anyone know whats going on?

I feel as if a larger size oring that seats in the tanks inner tube might fix the problem but cant imagine my uncle overseas doing this.

Any suggestions on whats going wrong please advise.

Here are some pics, notice one sits flush, and one wont go down, no matter what. I removed the oring for a clearer view. You can also see the coil that doesn't fit, sticks out the threaded end.

Thanks a lot guys, sucks I shipped the wrong ones overseas, this is the auctions exact title "Kanger MT3s or T3s Coil head 2.2 Ohms 5 Pack" and ordered the T3S tank from the same seller. They're so close in appearance and the blister pack is not labeled ( probably what caused this mess), it would be impossible to differentiate unless one tests fitment.

Here are both, one on the left works fine, the one on the right is slightly off, So these are protank coils?

Yup. The one on the right is a coil for a ProTank or EVOD, the one on the the left is for an T3s or MT3s.

The obvious way to tell them apart is that flat metal washer, located right under the protruding wick, is significantly larger in diameter on a PT/EVOD coil. The bases for a PT and a T3s that fit that washer on the coil are differently accordingly and that's why the heads aren't interchangeable.

Having already trashed one plastic T3s, if money isn't a problem I would skip right over the EVOD and get a ProTank, preferably a PT2.

The issue is: Some flavorings, and the list is pretty big, and known to crack plastic tanks. I ran a liquid that had a strong mint in it - and lemongrass - and three tanks later the T3s was a cracked leaking mess. I always check for plastic killer flavors before running it in a plastic tank - this one wasn't on the list - but it had two flavorings in it that are known to cause problems. Oh well - I got nearly six months out of that T3 tank before it happened.

Anyway, the EVOD is a metal tank, right? Well yeah - but that little view window in it is plastic - same problems, same issues. At least with a a glass PT2 any liquid wrecking the tank is simply a non issue.
