new cotton wick?

Hey everyone.
So today at my local vape shop they were talking a bout a new kind of wick. they called it "not-cotton" or "no-cotton or something. can anyone fill me in? thanks

I like how they named it not-cotton and not what it actually is. Which sounds a lot like rayon. Stuff is dirt cheap.

If that shop is anything like the local B&Ms, they'll buy a scrillion pound box of rayon from Sally's for $15 and then sell a baggie's worth of it for $8. Sort of like one of the local shops which sells a foot of Kanthal for $5.
