I'm posting this FYI for anyone who is interested:

I made an interesting discovery about analogs I wanted to share. Since I've started vaping, I've been gradually working my way down to no analogs. I'm under 1/2 PAD now. Soon to be completely free from them, Thank God!!

Here's what I discovered:

I smoked Ultra Lights 100's for years--a well known brand. Several months ago I tried an off brand that was cheaper, and I discovered that the name brand cigarette is actually 2mm SHORTER than the off brand! (I haven't measured the Kings since I didn't smoke them.)
I have actually measured the equivalent of about 5 cartons of each brand over the last several months, and every one of the brand name cigarettes is shorter--measuring in at 98mm! I've used a hospital measuring ruler (it's used to measure wounds) for accuracy. Then I measured other name brands and off brands and got the same results!

IMHO, this proves Big tobacco is—again—deceiving and cheating smokers. I'm glad that I'm nearly off analogs for good!
Maybe someone else can confirm this as well.

Just to make a point here...
If you take apart one of the 'off brands' and 'name brand', justcheck the length of the filter..
I have found that the off brand filters are longer than the name brand. This may be where the length diff is??

Good point!:) Thank you for mentioning it. My comparison was with the length of the cigarette only--the tobacco "tube". I've tried to eliminate any room for error, but there may have been something I missed. :)
