Hey guys, my name is Chris. Brand new at the whole e-cig thing and new to the forum. I've been lurking for a while now, learning, things like that. Made the plung a week ago. I bought a new provari, a couple of 1000MAH ego twist batteries, some phiniac tanks, e-juice, boge cartos,etc to get set up. I haven't gone off analogs all together yet but im getting there. I'm down from a pack a day to 3-5 analogs a day. I just wanted to drop by with an intro and say hey to everyone. Any advice as to juices and hardware would be greatly appreciated as I am still VERY new to all this. I have to admit learning about resitance in cartos and variable voltage devices and such was alot to take in so Im still learning.

welcome Chris and good job on the cigarette-reduction.
hopefully you'll be completely smoke-free soon!
I know there's a lot of information to take in, but seems you're doing just fine :)
regarding to juice, that's just personal preference, you'll just have to try some to find out what you like;
I suggest paying a brick & mortar store in your area a visit and ask if you can try some stuff out

good luck!

I live in Louisville and we have a severe lack of anything around here, except for the pen style e-cigs sold at gas stations which i had terrible luck which is ultimately why I made the plunge and bought some serious equipment. I understand that the juice is personal preference but i'd just like to get an idea of what other people are vaping and diggin'. I ordered some stuff from rawr juice on the advice that their stuff was pretty good. Otherwise I have zero experience with juices.

Welcome! I live in Louisville as well, and theres a ton of other members on here from the area as well. There's a few Brick and Mortar ecig shops around here. I havent really tried any of their stuff myself but some of the guys at work do. We also have a local Liquid vendor check his stuff out @purevapes.com. I get orders from him all the time and just hop over and pick up my stuff from him after he says it's ready.

Names and locations of the shops? I'd love to support local businesses if they are pricing stuff reasonably and have good gear and juices.

Maxx Electronic Cigarettes Louisville, KY, 40258 - YP.com

and http://www.smoketonight.com/contactus.php

I haven't been to either of them. I know they sell some of the older Maxx type batteries which I tried to talk my friends at work out of buying..
Some of them like some of the flavors of liquid they have though.

As far as gear goes, Most of mine has come from Smokelessimage.com Their X2 batteries and Clearo's work very well.

my friends Nikhil and -Optics- run Purevapes.com and have a ton of excellent flavors. I swear by their Pipe Dream flavor with Xtra tobacco.

Rawr juice is actually really good. I've had their Dawn of Truth for a couple months now and have also vaped their Hawaii Wai. Both taste very tropical, similar to a pina colada, with the the former having a hint of banana thrown in. Halo also makes some good tobacco flavored juices. Their Tribeca was my first juice and was surprisingly good for a tobacco. My current favorite, however, is Gooey Butter Cake by Vape-A-Licous.
