hello everyone!

I had actually forgot about e cigs for a long time. i was/am planning a trip to Thailand and saw a thread about e cigs on planes etc. I figured i would give them a shot! I first bought a Blu brand ecig and was ok till my local vendor never had the cartomizers in stock. But the 4 days i used them i had only had 3 cigs. I could tell a major difference in just 4 days. but atm thanks to Blu (grumble grumble) last 3 days i've been back to cigs:mad:. Anyways i decided to get something better.... So i have on the way and Ego C from Ovalle and something like 20 ish sample bottles on the way  In the few days of reading the forums i have learned much. I like to be prepared so i additionally purchased a 5 pack of soft cap tanks and a 4ML cartomizer tank to experiment with , a carrying case filling bottles, and filling needles. Anything else you guys think i may need to start with. like i said i like to go all out :2cool: any feedback would be appreciated. BTW im glad to have found these forums :)

I'm a newbie to all this so I can't really give advice. But I did want to say welcome and to congratulate you on your decision to switch from analogs to e-cigs. I decided on eGo as well and I am very happy and also happy to say that I have not touched an analog since I started e-cigs. You are doing a wonderful thing for your lungs and your body by cutting out the analogs. I think you will be very happy with the difference between your Blu's and an eGo. It made all the difference for me. I think you will be very happy with your eGo C.

By "tank" do you mean something with no filler and that is cleanable, like a big clearomizer? I'd want more than 5 of anything with a filler. Especially cartomizers since you're going to be punching some of them for a tank. If I had 20 flavors at my disposal, I'd want pretty close to that many cartos as well.

Don't forget to make sure that your charger will work in Thailand. It would suck if your 120V charger didn't work with their 220V outlets, or make sure you have a USB charger and a laptop or something.

Like sailor said you might want to check if the charger will work in Thiland.

Also With the cartomizer tank you will have to figure out what works for you and the juice. Depending on the PG/VG ratio of the juice you may have problems with dry hits. If this happens there are a few ways to go at it. Try dry hitting it without pushing the button after every few vapes to pull the liquid into the carto. If this doesn't work you may have to make a bigger hole in the cartos. This can be done by lightly tapping a nail into the hole being careful not to puncture the center tube. If you do it will leak causing a mess and a headache. Not sure which tank you got but if it comes with the smoketech pre punched carto the whole is too small for a heavy vaper or thick juice.

For a beginner its all a trial and error learning process. What works for one person may not work for another and vise versa.

thanks for the feedback. i did check my laptop and its 220 compatible and the kit does come with a usb charger. so i am good there at least. i think i will have to get more tanks to try different liquids, or could i just clean the tanks? for the 4 mil cartomizer i got it from vapingzone its a eGo Mega Dual Coil 4 ML Cartomizer LR 1.5 Ohm, i only bought one due to testing purposes.
oh does anyone know if in Bangkok there are any liquid store in the city?
