I just got the new LR atty today and popped it onto my 1000 MAH batt after blowing out the primer crap. I started using DIY 60/40 PG/VG mix. After only a few hits I'm getting a burnt taste like the atty is dry. I'm guessing the wick needs to be pushed down a little. Can I do this with a paper clip? Not sure what else the problem could be. I tried 70/30 juice as well and it's pretty much the same taste. Any help appreciated. Besides the burnt taste, I'm loving the vapor and TH lol.

I would leave the wick alone if I were you. It sounds like your wick and atty are dry. Drop a couple of drops of juice directly on top of the wick. Take 3 or 4 draws without pushing the button, and then try it.
