So what's the consensus for THE BEST eGo-T atty: Type A Std, Type A LR, Type B Std, Type B LR, 510-T Std, or 510-T LR????

I'm looking to order some replacements soon, and have seen a lot of comments in favor of the Type A LR and Type B Std and LR, especially over the Type A Std, which among other issues suffers from burnt wick syndrome.

In terms of performance, taste, non-burnt wick, lack of leaks, longevity, ease of maintenance, etc., which has been THE BEST overall in your experience if you have tried several or all of the above?

Any experience with or recommendations in favor of Fluxomizers, Vortex, etc. cartomizers over the Joye tank atties are welcome as well, however do mention how their longevity compares to the T-atties, as this is also one of my most important considerations.

TIA

Based on research here and elsewhere, I decided to order the 510-T atty/tanks for use with the eGo battery (also ordered the 510 batteries and charger for good measure). I am really hoping that the material(s) used in the 510-T atty are revised from that of the standard eGo-T atty, which was giving me a horrendous chemical taste/smell (my detailed experience here). I will give an update on my experience with the 510-T as it compares to the Type A Std.

none of the Ego-T Atty's have given me a vape that has satisfied me at all. I would highly suggest Ikenvape V2 Gold Carto's, the new dual coil is OK, and of course the Boge LR in the 1.5 or especially the 2ohm all of these over the Ego-T. If you want to try something new the new Echo Carto looks interesting to me, it will also be available in a 510 with in the next week I believe, it holds 3ml's of liquid

How do you use those items? Can they be used with the eGo-T battery?

A few weeks ago when I started gathering up stuff to ensure I would cover all my bases as I am new and never want to smoke another analog again, I went with someone's early suggestion to get Boge cartomizers (LR or Std). I got 5 of the standards, and I have been trying them now and again with a variety of different PG/VG juices, with all sorts of Taryn spins and condom fills, and packing those sucker full to the brim and blowing out the excess, and so far from my limited experience, it seems they are great for a few hits, but I've got to put them down shortly thereafter because the filler hasn't caught-up and wicked up juice from the rest of the filler, and thus the hits become less and less satisfying after the first few hits. When working right, the temperature of the standard is perfect right for me. So, other than a tank mechanism, from my limited experience, dripping is the only other way to ensure a satisfying consistency. When I get more cartomizers as back-up, I will definitely get these V2 Golds you mention. I wonder how they compare to the maxxfusion cartos for 808, which I have seen only good reviews about, and have made me consider getting 808 stuff as well.

I've been using a 510 atty and the Boge Cartos with the eGo-T battery, which is the same as an eGo battery, which has a 510 connection and will work with anything else 510. I got the eGo cone to go with it, to give it that streamline look.

Woah, I had no idea that it's the same connection. It sounds like the 510 is what I'm looking for. So, which should I get out of all that you recommended?

I have a Joye 510 atomizer and several Boge 510 cartomizers, and I can say without a doubt that the 510 atty with a drip tip is the way to go. I am still interested in seeing how well 510 clearomizer-type cartomizers perform in my hands, and I have a 510-T atty on the way (hopefully will work better even though the tank is slightly smaller). I'm also very interested in the Bloog Maxxfusion, but it is a 808, not 510.

Found one recent, favorable and thorough vote for the Type A LR over the Type A Std, by none other than GrimmGreen (link to YT video here), who a while back pooh-poohed the Type A Std.

If someone can tell me that they have experienced the same chemical taste on a Type A Std as I experience, but not on their Type A LR, from the get go and after continuous use, I'm getting it as well.

Been using a regular type B tank atomizer for 2 weeks now. Gave it it's first cleaning session over the weekend... The coil cleaned up in no time at all (unlike my type As which took forever to clean)

Type B LR I can't comment on as the only one I've got is a leaker, seems to have an abnormally long wick...

No strange tastes, chemical/burnt, or otherwise? Perhaps it is just the particular attys I got or the juices I'm using.

I read your post about the chemical taste and it doesn't sound too pleasant.... I stopped using my Type A's after the draw got too tight, can't say I've noticed any chemical taste on either of them. I take it you gear is genuine Joyetech and not a knock off?

It probably doesn't help but the internals of the type A & B are pretty much identical besides the different shaped chamber.
Needleplates are identical,. wicks are identical, foam bit around the side is identical, little ceramic cup with coil in the middle identical...

I use eGo-T Std and LR from 4 or 5 vendors for about 1.5 months. Frankly I didn't see any significant difference between Std and LR and between different vendors (except one). After initial blowing-out the primer I never had a chemical taste. Except these $6 "eGo-T"s which are not exactly eGo-Ts as they have not a silica wick but a metal mesh wick. This chemical taste can't be just blowed out, the new ones need soaking in an alcohol. Also they tend to flood from the very first day.
