I haven't worked in almost 4 years, since I left for maternity leave with my daughter. Never had a chance to go back to work because I had my son not quite 11 months after my daughter was born. And I'm only 23 :(
But you better believe I got my tubes tied this year lol

Not bemoaning your situation. Your 23, you still have a lot of good years left. And, you have 2 beautiful children.

I stopped working 12 years ago when I found out I was pregnant. At 3 months, I was placed on total bedrest because I had effaced and was risking another miscarriage. At the same time, I was managing the 2nd largest mental health clinic in Phoenix AZ.

Then I had a psychotic break. So, I'm pregnant and in a psych ward. WOOT WOOT!!!!

My son was born 1 month premature but healthy - no problems. My husband and I quit our 6 figure incomes 4 years later. Moved to his small hometown to be with family and raise our son in a small town. With my disability and his income, for a family of 3, we make 18,000 before taxes.

And, I wouldn't change it for the world. See, my son was the only child I was ever able to deliver full term. I stopped counting miscarriages after 9.

So, hon, it sucks for a while, but when you look around, really look, there are little rainbows in your life. Hold onto that. And when you can't, reach out, there will be other's to help along the way.

Ok - TMI:D
