What does Halo have against sales codes for its outstanding hardware?

I'm betting Halo's profit margin is significantly higher on e-liquid than it is on their hardware. This means they can offer greater discounts and more rewards points for the same dollar amount we spend.
I generally find the way they've split earning rewards annoying, but it's better than not having any rewards system at all. It
can get really irritating sometimes, though. For example, if I order one 1300 mAh Triton battery, a 7mL bottle of VooDoo e-juice, a 7mL bottle of Tiki Juice & a 7mL bottle of Tribeca, my merchandise total will be $37.96, but I won't receive any reward points. I have $19.99 in hardware & $17.97 in e-liquids. The way Halo has set up their rewards program, you get points for every $20 in hardware, and every $20 in e-juice, but those tallys are distinct from one another. And the amount of the reward points you earn for that $20 spent is different as well (75 for hardware and 100 for e-juice). As I said earlier, it can easily get irritating.
Personally, I'd have rather they just made the system all inclusive (eg 75 points for every $20 spent, regardless of on what), than set it up like they did. There has been at least one instance where it actually made the most sense financially for me to purchase a replacement tip ($0.99), even if I threw it away as soon as I received it. Doing so took my hardware total from $19.99 to $20.98, earning me 75 reward points. This translates to $1.50 when converted to the cash equivalent I'd have otherwise spent on a 30mL bottle of e-liquid.
Oi vey. Didn't mean to rant
that much.
