Greetings all. Living in Japan and have finally gotten around to vaping recently (hitting a month now...) and so far so good. This will be my fourth? maybe fifth time trying to stop (and hopefully quit) smoking.

Reading the wealth of info on here and some sad news for Japan Vapors (or is it vapers? - still a noob to this, but loving it!)

Wanted to get some thoughts on how to ship eliquid to Japan - what to put on the declaration for when I have fan / friends ship to me, etc... Seen a couple of stores that will ship into Japan, limits, etc - will give them a try and keep my fingers crossed.

Looking forward to being part of the non analog smoking community and the education from it!

1. Vaper is a person who vapes
2. Vapor is what we exhale when vaping
3. Maybe you could have suppliers put "flavoring" on the customs form.

Hopefully someone who has experience with this will confirm that "flavoring" will work.

Well, China is just over yonder. Ordering there shouldn't be a problem.
Customs...hmm...
Suppliers from there generally write 'gift shipment' 'electronic parts' worth 10 US$ ...
They always write that, no matter if you order an envelope or a shipload

Thanks for the comments - ordered supplies from eLiquid - talked to them and they say they ship to Japan, and have do so often, so we'll see what customs says about it. Thought about ordering from China, but I don't trust the juice! Though most of it probably comes from there anyway.... lol?

Will update as I see any updates and hopefully get my juice. Hopefully this can be another supplier that ships to successfully to Japan on top of the couple of others I have seen in these forums thus far.

Customs supposedly has a limit on how much nic juice can come through at a time but I think its a good amount.

Welcome to the board! I also live in Japan but I am not sure what the regulations are on shipping into Japan concerning nicotine as I use a FPO address but I do know that it cannot be sold at a shop in Japan (or so I've been told). There is only one vape shop in mainland Japan that I am aware of over in Yokosuka. It just recently opened in August and they carry a variety of juice flavors and has a small selection of mods, attys and chargers the last time I was there. Prices are fair but none of the juice they sell will have nicotine in it.

Just want to close this thread up nice and neat and advice that my shipment was received without issue. I ordered 90ml of nic juice and arrived within four days of shipment notification from the US. Nice to know that I can get nic juice! Now,... to try a bigger order... Back to vaping!
