New member to the ECF family!

Greetings everyone! I've been vaping for about 4 years now but have only recently discovered ECF!

I am excited about my future with this community and wish everyone here a belated but wonderful new year!
I currently reside in Singapore (It is a terrible pain to get my hands on E cigs here and I've resorted to DIY for most of my gear)
I would also love to meet more local vapers from my country and all around the world!

I used to be an analog smoker and I am proud to say that for the most parts I've gotten rid of my terrible smoking habit ever since I picked up vaping.
I have tried every single alternative before to quitting smoking but I was never able to successfully quit, that is until I tried my first vape.
Admittedly, I still smoke occasionally mostly due to the strict laws in my country that forbids me to smoke in public unless I'm looking to be slapped with huge fine. However, for the most parts I've managed to get rid of tobacco. Proud to say my lungs are feeling the benefits too!~

Welcome mate! Sorry to hear about the struggle, there're a few countries that seemed determined to harm their population with these types of misguided laws. However, there's something to be said for DIY and ingenuity and I hope you're able to find more locals to make that easier for all your health. I'd also encourage you to check out the forums that aren't Singapore, but the laws might be similar, to see what they have come up with.

It is true about what you said, since I started vaping my lungs feel so much healthier. I used to have a terrible shortness of breath and wheezing back when I was smoking heavy on analogs. Now it feels so much clearer and I stopped wheezing!
However recently my country has decided to step up their game on shutting us vapers down and it has taken a toll on me. I feel extremely discouraged and not to mention the constant stress of worrying about getting caught. Its starting to make me feel like switching back to analogs again to avoid all the complications. Though I would really hate to go back to tobacco again

Hello Raveheart and welcome. I don't understand why any country would outlaw vaping while allowing smoking. Just tax it and get over with itt. What ever happened to "Live and Let Live" .
