Mr. Mailman should be delivering a Ego mega cone atty kit 2moro.. I didn't go with the T since I'm reading so many problems with them. The only mod I may do would be the polyfil removal to fluval. I'm a dripper but am excited about the cart usage on the ego.

Any tips on what care is required initially as far as atty breakin, battery charge, cleaning atty, and the such?

Currently using 510's which are so awesome. I use carts occasionally but dripping is far better as far as taste and vapor. I should be done for awhile now with my equipment inventory. Wife's gunna kill me but hey, rather have her kill me then the analogs.

Finally made a DIY juice I can vape forever. Was mixing fruity juices(straw, apple, banana) until I was getting a sour taste and back of throat nubmness I couldn't stand. 20mg nic at 75/25 VG/PG with .5 drops caramel and peanut butter /ml. Add a drop of banana per 5-6 ml. Smooth!!!

I really like my megas. They have a tendency to flood, but I've come to the conclusion it is the carts fault and not the atty. If you experience flooding, search for "blue foam mod" or "blue foam with coffee straw mod" and follow the instructions you find. - I have 5 carts filled right now and 3 of them came without enough filler in them so I had to blue foam them.

The megas tend to gurgle a little bit. A little bit of gurgling is normal for them and it might take a little getting used to. But, they make a lot of vapor. - If you find that your flavors become a little muted, blow out the atty from the battery side. They have a big cup and a bunch of mesh in them so the attys hold a lot of juice. That can lead to a little loss of flavor once and a while.

You're going to be pleased with the vapor production. The megas are (mostly) a big step up from a normal 510 atty.

I've done both, but what worked best for me was using two pieces of blue foam. I cut one 1/4 length of the cartridge and the same width. I rolled it up fairly tight and packed it in to the bottom of the cart with a spring hook (a toothpick, paperclip, small screwdriver etc will do). Then, I cut a piece slightly wider and slightly longer than the cart. I folded it over and slipped it in to the cart with the fold sticking out of the cart. Then I cut the fold/excess length off with scissors. I have had no flooding using that method.

The blue foam and coffee straw works great, too, but is a little more time consuming to do (and you probably have to get a lousy cup of convenience store coffee to obtain the straw). there are a few youtube videos of how to do it.

Having more than one layer inside the cart and having one of those layers with the fibres going in a different direction slows the flow a little. - Some people will take a smaller piece of blue foam and just put it in on top of the stock filler with the fibres running sideways rather than up and down. That takes care of the too little filler problem and it slows the natural wicking of the filler a little.
