Sis-in-law got me an egoT from Germany (paid too much) - but...nice gift either way!
Anyhow..it's got a cone style atty & I can't for the life of me figure out HOW to fill the mouthpiece on it
The literature on it is in German - it's a clear pen-style w/flat tip - there's no hole @ the end that goes into atty BUT, there's 2 small breather holes on the sides of it - I tried a syringe from the mouth end but it just comes out the pinholes on the sides...any ideas?
Thank you

You either need to pop the cap off or let the attie put a hole in it then fill with a syringe. That how I did my new ego-C tanks which I think are the same as the ego-T.

This is also how I fill my Ego T ... for the first fill I always remove the cap and fill, and then pre-puncture the hole .... when I do a re fill I use a syringe and just stick into the hole at the bottom of the cap.

I remember my first time trying to fill the eGo-T system... It didn't go well. I also tried to fill from the mouth piece, and couldn't figure out why it was leaking. Because the mouth isn't connected to the tank. They're ventilation holes to draw the vapor out of the atomizer. After I figured out the bottom popped off, I was a happy camper. And after the initial use, the atty punctures the hole in the bottom, then they're even easier to fill with a syringe.

I personally hate filling with a syringe. Always end up mixing flavours a bit unless you wash it out. I got 20 of the soft silicone caps when I ordered my ego-c. Getting the hard plastic top off was really hard but with the soft silicone it's much easier.

There has to be a better way to fill tanks! I'm considering getting a bunch of needle topped bottles. Does anyone else have a better way?

Filling the Tank is a piece of cake. No syringes necessary. Just pop the little white plastic cap/hat off the end that you do not vape from. It's slips off real easy, unless of course it's a hard cap. The soft gel like cap is much better. Then you take your juice bottle, aim it into the tips cavity and squeeze in the juice until you reach just under that cap line. Snap on the cap. No need to punch any holes into the cap. The covering over the hole is not as thick as the gel cap. Just snap that little guy into the cone atty and vape away. That's the beauty of the e-Go T. The simplicity of filling and refilling, especially when your on the go.

I talked Green House One into selling those little gel caps separately last year, which I now see other vendors are doing as well. If you have a leaking problem, just throw out the old gel cap and snap on a new one.

I hope that clears up a lot for you.

My problem is that the atty's seem to either last a long time or they die within days of use. Many re-orders and many deaths. I wonder if my vendor is selling knock-off & claiming that they are the real Joye e-Go T's. hmmm?
Anyone have any suggestions? Do the authentic e-Go T atty's from the real Joye company last long or are they also dying within days. If they do, then 3 of us have to look for a user friendly system that won't fail us like these atty's have been doing.
We are not interested in carts or carto's, way to much tinkering. I wish that these e-go T atty's were made much better. :(

I stopped using the Joyetech eGo-T attys & tanks after a few weeks due to the leaks. There are ways to elimate the leak. One guy posted about using a specific size syringe to puncture the center hole of the caps. As far as failing atty's, mine never failed in the few weeks that I used them. They still work. I highly suggest, you order the eGo-C base & replacement heads - this should solve both problems. Nicfit sells them in Canada.

I've only had very minor leaks with my new Ego-C. I say minor in that if I take the cart off there might be a little bit of liquid sitting on the ledge that the attie is pushed up against. Only a drop or two. I've used both the hard cap and the soft caps. I find the soft caps don't always get the center popped through all the time and will let the attie run dry but you know that pretty much right away.

LOL, I have 9 Joyetech Ego T Type A Attys that I had purchased in Aug/11 and they all work 100%. No probs at all. I really don't know why all the probs unless local vendors are selling knock offs that came from alternative Chinese vendors. There are an awful lot of Chinese companies pushing their goods at a low price.

Thank you sooooo much for answering my question. Perhaps you are right, vendors might be selling knock off's that bear the name e-Go T, hence the problems with the atty's.

Having said that, it's not totally fair to accuse, based on just one or two people's experience, I guess. Either way, we don't want to take anymore chances with this model. Perhaps the "e-go C" model will be less of a risk for us. We want something reliable & very user friendly. We're not interested in tinkering. Just grab the unit, fill, go & vape our little hearts out. :)

What do you think of the e-go C and the awesome looking Ovale Elps from Joye?

Again, the assorted companies in China cause the probs with quality. I have not tried either and still vaping my "T". If it works try it, most here have used assorted PVs to find their sweet spot. Some the 1st time, some many PVs to get what they need to have a successful vape. Try one and maybe if you don't like it, you could sell it in the for sale section here on ECF.
Cheers and hope you find what you like!

Well, I only buy real/authentic Joyetech and Janty attys and they also die...I think it has something to do with the way I vape, probably because I am using some VG juices and because most of these attys are LRs...
So now, I am using tanks as the best way to try new e-liquids and after that, I use other PV's to vape them all day.
