New ego twist ?..charging problem? Help please

Hello and thank you in advance..I had just rcvd my new ego twist 1000Mah on thursday and wow love it..well last night it batt was drained ..ok..5pm until 10:30 pm still red..went to sleep .got up a few hits less than 1 hr and batt drained already..is on the charger again now..is this normal?..my regular ego t 1000Mah didn't seem to be like this and I was curious should I just charge it more to see what happens?..hit up the vendor?...could really use some advice..thank you...Joe

No its not normal. Is it a Joye battery or is it a clone? Some clones do use Joye batteries, others use inferior stuff. There could have also been a short and the protection kicked in. When that happens the battery will not fire until you put back on the charger and it resets itself. So you may have thought it was dead. Did you try to use a different carto or atty?

It is a real Joytech from v c alot of people I have seen get them and with no problems..some today one or two are experiencing the same thing? yup the battery was completely dead ..just took it off the charger after oh from 10:30am till now..6:30pm still red..is firing but didn't turn green...have my regular ego-t on the charger now to compare the two...thank you..Joe

Are you using a Joye charger? It will have the logo on it. Sometimes the Joye twists do not like generic chargers.

If its not the charger and it continues to fire for only an hour, return it. They should fire for a solid 5-6 hours even at the high voltage setting. . Im sure your supplier has a warranty of some kind.

Ie-mailed the supplier ...he said he would replace it..and by the way it's not a joy charger..are they that touchy?...my ego-t charges fine..also just tried my laptop fora bit and didn't work either...my oher one regular turned green in 30 min..was already charged but still should prove is not the charger right?...maybe I should get a backup like I hear everyone doing?..back up to aback up...lol...thank you by te way...Joe

That could very well be it. The normal ego batteries you have don't have all the electronics it that the twist has. I heard many people try the twist in different ego style chargers and they didn't work. That doesn't mean your battery isn't defective. Id return it, get the new one. If you have the same problem - its the charger.
