Hello all -

I just purchased some new empty amber bottles from Specialty Bottle and I'm wanting to know what everyone does with NEW bottles, just wash in warm soapy water? Boil to sterilize? They also came with the droppers, so need to do the same with them as well. Suggestions???

Thanks in advance

Here's the thing though.... I went ahead and bought quite a few empty bottles in sizes ranging from 5ml, 10ml, 15ml, 30ml. I have like 12 bottlews in those sizes that I bought from the start as empties.

But I also, of course, began buying up lots of e-liquids and flavors to try so I'd get an idea of what types of flavors are out there, what flavors I like and which flavors will be good to blend with others when/if I get into DIY.

^Then I realized, like many other people here, that I dont like most of the flavors I've tried. Also, as I got through these different juices, I am building up an additional supply of empty bottles. I am generating new empties faster than I can use them, so I dont think there was ever any real need for me to buy empties in the first place! I also am building a supply of squeeze type dropper tops for glass bottles from bottles I've used up or poured out to make blends(or just poured out!). So I dont need to buy any squeeze droppers either.

I haven't bottled juice, but I clean bottles for other things. I prefer PBW. It's a powdered non-sudsing cleaner used by home brewers. It's pretty cheap. I just give bottles a soak for a few minutes and rinse. If I need to sterilize, I use a diluted bath of Iodophor. I'd probably rinse well after that, too. Who wants to vape iodine?

If you have a brew store near by, this stuff is pretty cheap.
