No ban on electronic smoking

it's up to you, but I think it is worth it, a lot of people at parliament look like it would be a good idea to just ban all nicotine products (except regular cigarettes obviously and patches I suppose)

I found less information about the situation in France. Are there any plans for a new regulation? Is vaping allowed in nonsmoking areas?
Would be nice if you could answer me.

Hi Frody,

From what I know, there's no specific regulation yet in private non-smoking areas like restaurants or bars, it's more like being polite and ask the owner if it's ok for him.
A few members on french forums report that it is now officially forbidden in trains, subway and platforms, but I didn't see the official text about it. I think it is logical, same in planes now, you cannot vape anymore.

I'm more worried that health and anti-tobbaco lobbies want to push to avoid all e-cigs devices and even more, nicotine juices, this is why I think showing thousands of people signing this petition can be helpfull, at least to show that they're many consumers and that they have to deal with it.

Sadly the petition is ignored by many vapers. I don't know why..

What we need is a strong voice. An international consumer association! There only a few associations (worldwide) and afaik France almost formed one in 2010. What's now? A France consumer association would be helpful..

Online petitions are useless, write a letter and post it. The tobacco directive is out and if we dont act or just add a 'like' on facebook then it over for the industry. This requires real world action not online petitions.
