You should be scared if you live in the Philippines.
It's not clear from the headline but this is about the FDA in the Philippines not the US FDA.
Terrible old rubish from the FDA their, I think we can assume their mind is already made up. Shame as the Philippines is a growing market and a good example of peoples willingness to switch in spite of the price advantage cigarettes have.

Absolutely. Bloody killers Big tobacco are really raking in the profits from "third world" cigarette smoking trends and they're already sobbing over their brandies about a billion or so of "their money" being stolen from "their wallets" by e-cigarettes use in the USA.
They're talking about the Philippines in the article, not the US.
Make no mistake - e-cigs taking off in developing nations represents a disaster for BT.
