Hi Mac,
Great news. Now I can place my order before taking off for the weekend. Can you please tell me what the shelf life is for your e-liquid? Thanks.

Regards,
Mark

PS: I know your avoiding adding "additives" to your e-liquid but can you confirm whether your e-liquid contains any alcohol? I understand that (perhaps amongst other things) it helps to keep any possible bacteria growth in check).

Did someone say Sunday? How about today?
At about 4:00 (central) today, we will launch our new flavors and non-PG option! Check back at www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com later - you are going to love these!!:p

Mark,
Yes, as a preservative, it does contain minute amounts of alcohol. And yes, bacteria find even the tracest amounts of alcohol a pretty inhospitable place to thrive :)
The shelf life by the way is 12 months. Not as long as some others, but again we don't load ours up with a ton of chemical preservatives. :)

Hi Mac,
Thanks for the quick response with info. So if all goes well on your end I should be able to place my order in about an hour and a half from now... Sweet!

Regards,
Mark

regan,

Some people are sensitive to PG (propylene glycol) and have reported adverse reactions to it's use. VG (vegetable glycerine) appears to resolve these issues for users.

The major difference is what happens to PG & VG in your body.
PG is metabolised (broken down) into lactic acid and then excreted
VG is metabolised into glucose (a sugar) in your system

Given the quantities we are inhaling of either the amount of by product produced is easily handled by our system. The choice is yours as to which you prefer. All reports so far tend to indicate both make similar volumes of vapour. All I haven't tried VG yet, I'd imagine it will produce a slightly sweet mist as it is inherantly sweeter in it's raw form than PG. Others that are using it now would be able to confirm this or not.

Emp,

I've been reading a number of medical journals lately about clinical trials and the excellent result of using cyclosporin in PG inhaled as anti-rejection therapy for lung transplant patients.

The major difference is the delivery method ... where we are producing a vapour or mist by heating in our devices to inhale, the medical versions are using jet atomisers to produce the vapour for inhaling, that's more like the mist you see from an aerosol can or from a quality perfume bottle sprayer.

Given that the medical profession are using PG to treat lung transplant patients post operatively within very short time frames and for long-term ongoing treatment, I think we can be fairly well reassured our use is potentially safe.

launch our new flavors and non-PG option!
MacFan, I'm seeing members assuming your non-PG option is VG, however I don't find you or your website saying it's VG. If I've missed this I'm sorry. Can you please confirm: Is this non-PG option a replacement using VG completely? Or is it something else, and if so, what?

Thank you.

Hi Jamie! The PG alternative is indeed comprised primarily of vegetable glycerin as well as two other completely natural ingredients to address the increased thickness (due to no PG presence) and to stabilize.

Naz, yep, have you tried our Original Tobacco? It is fairly strong and does give me the "back of the throat" pull. Let me know if you've tried it or not :)

Thanks for the prompt response. :) I suppose we're getting into 'trade secrets' territory... the bottom line for me is, how do I know it's okay for me to inhale those natural ingredients into my lungs?

I'll ask everyone to please ignore the ironic as*hattery of a ciggie smoker asking this question - let's make a pact, k?
