New forum software

I am liking this new setup, I figured I would hate it, being old set in my evil ways. It has some nice features. I like the automatic jump to the first unread, the alert function and the ease of seeing some of the details about posters (especially those who like what I have said). So, dear administrators, when you aren't giving me a hard time about drifting off topic, I give you a thumbs up.

Na... doesn't sound bad, Ed. The ignore, forum, thread and of course the old ignore member features save a lot of time and aggravation.

New interface, gotta get use to it that's for sure. Only took me about one or two hours before I really like it, now it's a real 2015 forum, long live ECF!

Since I am old and kinda resistant to change I was lost at first but I do enjoy the ease of the new format. Once all the bugs are worked out and a few things tweaked it will be hard to beat. Cudo's to all that have invested so much time and effort into getting this done.

Learning a new way to do old familiar things, overall a nice change. Where I used to look at watched threads and "My New" separately, automatically watching threads I post to, with the ability to delete some, has actually made things easier. Being able to ignore threads and forums that are irrelevant to me has streamlined plowing through New Posts too. A smooth migration and good outcome!

I really like the new format, too. The only suggestion I might have for the administrator would be to more clearly mark the Stickies (maybe by highlighting them like they used to be) to make it easier to find them to read, or to be able to quickly skip over them.

Loving it. Great job ECF. I cant even remember what the old forum looked like, LOL.

Sure there was a little learning curve, but is`nt that vaping in general.

I think the move and new features are good as well. I was still finding new features at the old place, haha.

Only thing I don't like is when I get likes, I can't tell what post it's on. Just what thread. I wind up with 3 or 4 tabs open to the same post at times.

Other than that, I think the features and functionality are great.

Good point on stickies, I agree with you.
