I wanted to share my first three weeks with the other new peeps. Probably the best improvement I've seen to my life is the new freedom I feel. We all talk about health, money, and other subjects but I don't really see people talk about other life improvements that much.

As a smoker I knew that smoking controlled my life. I didn't always want to admit that but it really did. My day was often planned around when I would be able to smoke. Most of the time it was probably just a driving force in my head that I no longer paid attention to, just followed.

However, that is no more. I don't have to schedule my morning routine to account for going outside to smoke. I don't have to run outside before a meeting to grab a couple smokes knowing I would be tied up a while. All day long I can just carry my rig with me and vape pretty much at will.

It has freed up so much of my time. I didn't really see that coming. I'm back in control of my life now and it feels good!

Thanks to everyone here for the information and opinions. It's very helpful.

Good luck to the new people, this is a great place to be. Happy vaping!

    Great post! Also.......

-Freedom from standing in line at the checkout.

-freedom from planning how to sync filling the gas tank w/ getting smokes.

-freedom of shopping online-few clicks and it's at my door in a few days.

    -freedom to snuggleup with family.

    -freedom from mints and mouthwashes.

-freedom from conflict with supervisors and co-workers.

-freedom to apply for a job at a nonsmoking workplace.

Have to add that it was sooooooo easy to switch, with very little willpower or money or prescriptions.

I love vaping in my office all day long and not needing to go outside for a smoke, I do feel much more productive.

More importantly for me is at my daughter's softball games. There is no smoking at a majority of the youth softball events so I would make sure I had enough nic before a game or find somewhere on the fields where I could hide and still see the game while I smoked. Games are 1 1/2 - 2 hours so I would be jonesin' for a smoke by the end of a game. Sometimes I just couldn't wait so I would go out and miss an inning or two..... Bad Dad... Vaping allows me to get my nic fix without bothering anyone with the stench and risking being removed from the park forever. My setup is small enough for stealth vaping and the Vivi Nova will hold enough juice for an entire day in the stands.

I still go outside to vape at work, but then again it went from 20-freezing-rain-nasty to 70 this week.. I can't miss that! :) Haven't gone to a movie yet (and I'll need to work on my ninja stealth first) but I'm looking forward to hanging/working at the bar Fri without having to leave my laptop behind to go outside and smoke.
    :matrix:

I think I need to make a 3mg/ml mix though, even the 6 is proving to be a little much for chain-vaping at my desk/on my couch/etc. Wife is starting to look at me funny for being hyper :w00t:

I'm working on getting that freedom...getting closer...and Who Dat in 2013-2014!

Wait, you're in DFW but you're a Saints fan! I'm impressed! WHO DAT!

I still go outside at work on occasion with my co-workers that smoke. If it's windy outside and they're struggling to get their cigarette lit I just sit there and smile and vape away. Can't wait until the weather is warmer and I can sit on the beach and not have to worry about cuddling up with my lighter to get my cigarette lit.
