Yeah, ditch the EVODs. Get a protank (or a protank mini 2 if you wanna keep the same size tank). EVODs are notorious for leaking. All tanks get a little liquid built up in the center tube, but in my experience, my protanks don't leak hardly at all compared to my EVODs which gave me a mouthful of liquid. If you don't want to get a protank and still want to troubleshoot the EVOD, then I would first check the coil and make sure that it has enough loose wick. Loose wick is the wick that lays on top of the coil. If you don't have enough of that it will suck liquid in. Also, you might want to check the rubber piece that fits on the chimney of the coil. If that doesn't make contact with your center tube, that could also be your problem.
