New from North Carolina

My buddy just gave me an EZ Smoker with some new cartridges but I dont really care for the flavor. It kinda tastes like a combination of plastic and the fog from a fog machine. Would it be possible to clean out the cartridges somehow and put a better flavor in there? Is it as simple as rinsing out the little white fibers and putting new eliquid on them? I have done some research and decided that if I can get this one tasting better that I will get a Joye 510-T. Also does anybody know what size/type battery this ez smoker is? (510, dse901, etc?) And are there any places in or around Greenville, NC that sell e-liquid or e-cig supplies?

Wrong. it is not M401 - not even the same gender battery.

It is RN4081, or DSE103 (I have to check which has the recessed atty bridge) OR it is the mystery looks-like-RN4081 but fits nothing model

---

I checked the atty bridge - 90% chance it it RN4081, 10% chance it is the fits-nothing model

You can get RN4081 stuff at AZSMokeFree, Vaporkings.com, Goodprophets
You can get prefilled cartos at Njoy (for Npro, aka 2-n-1 at 7-11's) and Smokestik (Hendo)

I recommend a manual battery from AZSMokeFree but first make sure it actually fits RN4081 stuff

Yes, it does seem to be an RN4081 lookalike. Rings on the battery, battery connector and atty shape are a giveaway.
The Atty mesh though looks a bit thinner (RN4081 has a wider squarish and flatter shape).
This is a 'super mini', it's bigger than the smallest of the e-cigs, but smaller than a 'pen' type.
A genuine RN4081 gives good vape both in vapor and taste. You probably need another e-juice, and it does take a couple
of refills before it starts to taste good to get rid of the primer they use during storage.

To clean the cart, pullout the inner cart, pull out the filler and squash it between layers of tissue. Wipe the cart with a cotton bud. Put the filler back in making sure a tiny bit protrudes. Drip the liquid on top until flly absorbed. Put the inner cart back into the cart.

The RN4081 is great for dripping. You can test the taste by dripping two drops directly onto the atty mesh and vape it with an emtpy cart.

Only place close to you that you can "walk-in" and get what you need is Misty Mountain Vapor. They have a permanent setup at the NC Fairgrounds (indoors), though with the state fair going on right now, I have no idea if they're operating this weekend or next. They also supply several other shops mostly in the triangle, but I don't know which ones. Perhaps an email to their online presence can answer that question. They're great folks with good equipment. A little higher than online, but I'd expect that when you can hold the devices before you buy. They also carry Chinese Dekang juice (not the best, but not too bad).

MadVapes is like the RadioShack of vaping, and they're in Charlotte, as is MyFreedomSmokes.com. I don't know if MFS has a retail front, but you can order from their site and pick it up.

Welcome aboard! I'm in Chapel Hill, so feel free to pm me if I can shed any light on the local deal. I grew up in Kinston, and I'm headed that way this weekend.
