Hi y'all. I've been smoking a long time. In my 50s and ready to stop. I have trouble with vaping because I try to smoke it like a cigarette. My husband is trying to show me differently. He bought a cool fire iv for me but I wanted something girly so he uses that and got me an Aspire Nautilus mini. I am here to learn.

I smoke ultra light cigarettes for years so don't need heaps of nicotine in my juice.

He has pretty much quit his full flavor cigs and switched to e juice. Yah.

I need to learn how to inhale my ecig correctly so I'll be here reading a lot while watching football.

Thanks for any tips you have. I'm happy for all of you who are successfully quitting whatever ails you lol....happy vaping!

the nicotine in e-cig is not like nicotine in cigarettes. With cigarettes we inhale and it goes to blood in lungs. But e-cig vapes do not mix to blood when it is inhaled to lungs. the artificial nicotine is absorbed by skin so they suggest to full mouth with vape and slowly inhale them. and for sub-ohmers take some of the vape through their noses to make time to be absorbed through the way.
So they dont suggest sub-ohms (less than 1 ohm) to inhale directly to the lungs while sub-ohmers would prefer inhaling like a sisha.
Anyway now that it is a thing which will satisfy our needs you can do whatever pleases you.

With cigarettes you take quick hard draws. That doesn't work with your personal vaping device. Draw very lightly, but longer. Count to 4, then inhale. It might make you cough at first, but you'll get used to it. Maybe start with 2-second puffs, and when you tolerate those, move on to longer draws. Just remember to draw softly. Good luck on your vaping journey. You'll love it eventually :)

My wife and I started at about the same time. I took to it right away because I was always a mouth to lung smoker. I honestly didn't know there was any other way to smoke. However, she had a little more trouble because she was a straight to lung smoker. Boy, you're married to someone for 40 years and you think you know them...

I will tell you like I told my brother who started vaping a month ago, draw it into your mouth even let the vapor roll around in your mouth and then you can inhale it or release it out your nostrils or mouth. Make it more comfortable for you, if you try to direct inhale like a cigarette, it will make you cough.

Howdy. What parts are you from? You've gotten good advice on how to use the Nautilus. It was my first tank and served me well, until the Shinyitis hit. I also smoked ultra lights. How many did you smoke a day? That could factor in on what nic strength you might need. I started at 18mg because , I was a PAD+ smoker and needed it to curb the cravings.
