Geekvape just released firmware V1.2-0710. Notes of the update are: Battery life substantially improved; Temperature control significantly optimized.

Firmware Download

I just installed it, easy enough and will comment if I notice much improvement. If you try it out please post about your experiences, geekvape really wants to know so it can improve its products.

This is great that you posted about the firmware update for the people that own one. I don’t but great for others!
Thank you my dear [emoji847]

I read a tech guy say there were improvements to the battery life with the update. Battery life wasn't horrific but the battery meter was off, wasn't until I used the puff counter that I saw it wasn't as bad as I thought. They fixed the battery meter so now you don't freak out when you look at it....lol.

Forgot it at home today so not much to say so far, will use it more tomorrow.

The original Aegis has the same issue, the battery meter is off, according to the meter my battery is really low but when put on the Hohmtech charger it displayed 50%. Also the mod won’t let you use the battery until 3.20 volt.

Do you speak with Geekvape? Perhaps you can mention this issue to them & maybe they can offer a firmware fix? Thanks bud ;)

Battery life wasn't horrible but it was worse than other 2 battery mods. Part of my problem was I have Themis mesh in TC @18Ω on the Legend and comparing to my usual .5Ω and .8Ω builds. I had to put an old tank on it to test. Not as bad as it seemed but not great.

True, when I was first using it it seemed like every time I picked it up the battery meter was near empty. I then started to keep track of the puffs, 193 at 90 watts with a 0.15ohm coil in the freemax mesh pro and got nearly 250 puffs in the 50 to 65 watt range. Not the greatest but not bad considering I take long 3 to 4 second draws. The battery indicator was useless, I just stopped looking at it until it stopped firing.

Have you tried the new firmware yet? Would like to hear if it helps you

I did right away. I was a little worried because TC was working great with the mesh, but I risked it for the battery life.
TC is helped (wattage setting is more aggressive) without burning the mesh with the initial boost (problem other mods have had). I'm still testing the battery life. I've got other mods distracting me from the Legends/Themises since I got a Zeus for my Proton.
I didn't try any other TC builds on them because I have both working great right now.

It probably won't be a fair test since I'm taking so many days but I was getting 170-180 puffs per charge before with the mesh. 200 would be good. That should translate into 2 days with the .5Ω builds.
