So I was on Vapor Freak getting ready to buy a DRA XL when I saw the Arashi V2.

Looks very similar to the AGA T2, but with a smooth top cap and more versatile wick hole configuration:

I ended up purchasing the DRA XL, Arashi V2, and a frosted glass tank. If it ends up being a re-dist of the AGA T2, I will be disappointed as it was much more expensive than the AGA T2 (which I own 2 of and love).

Anybody try one of these? As far as I know there are no US distributors selling the Arashi V2 yet.

I have an Arashi Mini and it performs quite well (and looks fantastic on a GP Piccolo). It really is essentially a Japanese knockoff of the Chinese knockoff though (speaking of the AGA-T). Or maybe it's the other way round, doesn't matter. One of the things I do like is that it's ready for u-wicks or dual wicks out of the box rather then having to mod it like I did with my AGA. I can't really say one works better then the other and I am comparing a 16mm Arashi to a 22mm AGA, but I do at least feel like the finish on the Arashi is better. Although you shouldn't expect the logo to stay for long, I believe it's painted on and mine is nearly gone already.

Where did you get yours at?

Anyone know the size of the wick hole? Will the 1/8" ceramic wicks fit without drilling it out. That's my only quibble with the AGA-T2. I've got a RSST on pre-order, if anyone can confirm a 1/8" wick will fit I'll cancel the pre-order and go for this, looks much better.

it's smaller, I drilled mine TO 1/8"

interesting an aga style body with a cobra type deck. might have to try one out.

i dont think its anything like an aga though the machining looks excellent.

the link to it on VF says product not found though

and an ac-9 shaped top cap (without the drip tip well)

I came across this online this morning, and I love the way it looks. I'd like to get one, but it's a bit out of my price range at this time. This RBA would work great for a friend of mine, who is still using a Protank on a spinner. I think I could get her to switch once she vaped on this thing. I could wind her a 1.8 ohm coil and she'd been good for a couple weeks at least on her spinners.

I got one of these last week,( full size V2) very nice. performs well. the only issue i did not like is the 510 connector is rather short and the threads are loose/slightly undersized and does not get a tight grip on some of my older, more worn thread mods.

performance and build quality are top notch and the tighter area style cap makes some nice vapes.

had an extra DID neg screw so i used it here .

the vapor freak links are wacky sometimes, go to the site then look under the phoenix mods header.
