Hi everyone! i've been lurking here for quite some time and finally decided to register. 
I've been vaping for six months now, but still feel like a complete n00b! i was a pack and a half a day (camel lights) smoker for about 10 years (i'm 27, btdubbs) but had to quit because of a heart problem. not only did i have to quit smoking cold turkey, but i had to give up coffee as well. i thought i was going to have run out into the streets and start flipping cars, i was ......!
unfortunately, for my first stab at ecigs i opted for the Safe Cig because my roommate had tried them and liked them. I like the batteries actually, but i found the carts to be terribly inconsistent. like some would last a full day (and i vape HARD) and other would last an hour or two. their shipping times are all over the place, it once took two weeks just to get my carts shipped out, and another time i second day opted for a shipment because i was taking a vacation and it didn't show up for 4 days! oh and P.S. they're too expensive!
rambling. anyway... i really wish i had the wits to do some research on this forum beforehand, but i needed something quick! recently i ordered a Bloog Maxxfusion and LOVED the damn thing but (Murphy's law...) i got a bum USB charger with the thing that burned out my batteries. i'm currently dripping with some juice i ordered from Gourmet Vapor (maiden coffee: yummmm. beats the crap out of my morning cup of decaf) and my leftover SafeCig carts that I ghetto rigged until the new Bloogs come in. i think i may also try the Volt since it seems to be a cheaper MF.
i stick to 6mg nic, though i just made another purchase from gourmet vapor for a 0mg cheesecake (god i hope it's good!) and RY4. i'm hoping that the 0mg have a decent TH. to me that feels the most like smoking and keeps me off the analogs.
ughhhh that was long and i probably could have sectioned it off into like 3 separate posts. nice to meet everyone!
