Hi all. Thanks in part to this forum, I started off with a CE4 rebuildable carto and an 1100mAh 510 battery.

So far so good, although I'm not real happy with my e-juice. I'm sensitive to PG so I have a low-PG juice, but the throat hit just isn't there. I just want a tobacco type juice with low or zero PG and a nice kick to it. I'm considering going menthol.

I'm not sure if you can get TH from high VG, I'm at 50PG/50VG and there is a bit of a throat hit but not a whole lot. But hey, I found now that I am almost 6 months away from analogs the TH isn't a big deal to me. Big vapour cloud and good flavour is all I ask but I know everyone is different.

Alien visions bobas bounty is all VG and has a very nice throat hit to it. Give it a try. A lot of people swear by it. Um not a tobacco person but I vape it every now and then.

Is the throat hit caused by the PG, the VG or the nicotine?

It think it is from PG and nicotine, and other factors too, such as alcohol. I would imagine a nice strong menthol would help.

Th is mostly caused by nicotine, you will notice that the higher the nicotine is the harder it hits, I tried 24 mg once, i almost passed out haha

For me, a cartomizer has better TH than a CE4 with the right juice. I use menthol juices in cartomizers when I need a good TH.

510, 1100mah??? I'm hoping you meant an eGo or removable battery mod with 1100mah. I can't even imagine a 510 with 1100mah. Is it 2ft long?

Yeah it's an eEo style battery w/ 510 threads. Thanks for confirming my thoughts on the menthol.

You can put a few drops of Everclear or vodka in your bottle of liquid to give it some throat hit. Lots of people do it.
