New guy from Central PA

Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself here. My name is Dave, those who know me from my internet presence and personally me call me Tuscarora Dave. I have smoked analogs for 29 years. I recently started vaping using the little store bought e-cigs and thought they tasted like an old steam radiator. While at a Frank Zappa tribute concert I saw Tom Fowler jamming his bass guitar and vaping on an interesting looking device. After the show I asked him all about it and he said that he owns a store in the Las Vegas area and sold me a EGO-T starter kit with CE4 clearomizer and a bottle of Danish ....... 20mg vapor juice. The 20mg juice leaves me jonesing for an analog so I've been vaping and smoking. Got some 36mg juice on the way so hopefully I can kick these analogs once and for all.

The CE4 with this battery doesn't seem to produce enough vapor so I've picked up some other clearomizers locally and have a few standard resistance clearomizers on the way with the 36mg juice. Just getting started and wanted to wave a hand.

I've read that the nicotine in the vapor is mostly absorbed in your mouth. Try holding it there for a moment before you inhale and you might start getting the nic you desire. If you take direct lung hits, then maybe your not absorbing as much as you could be. 36mg is pretty strong and, in my experience, more nic has a tendency to wreck havoc on delicious flavors.

No matter what you do, kick the butts!

Thanks, I have 24mg coming from one site and 36mg coming from another site. Hopefully I'll find a few flavors that I'll want in larger quanities. I grew up in and around Harrisburg

Now that's what I'm talking about, I've been doing the camels for a while so the throat hit seems appealing to me. I've been known to have a Snus in my lip and a Camel hanging off my lip at the same time. I really want to stop the ciggs but go nuts everytime I try so this is something I'll spend a little money on to get something going that I really like.

I received my 36mg juice in the mail yesterday and that seems to be working perfectly for killing the jones for an analog cigarette. Woo Hoo!!! Nice to have found a local site that has great juice so far, with 2 day shipping. Have some other flavors coming in from diyflavorshack @ 24mg so I'll try to taper down to that nic level and go from there. This post should make my 5 posts so now I can check out the PA Vapers that linked their link earlier in this thread.

Hey Dave, welcome to the club! Something you could give a shot is a mod that has a variable voltage option or an ego-twist battery, you can crank up the voltage a little and get that harsher hit/more vapor and still keep the good flavor at 24mg. Either way, you're off to a good start! Hopefully we will have a B&M in Harrisburg soon. And yah, check out the PA Vapers subsection, some good stuff in there.

Thanks for the reply and for the welcome. I did pick up an EGO Twist yesterday and a ViVi Nova kit. I like that I can adjust the voltage and get different resulting vapor attributes. I was going to wait until I found a favorite flavor to use the Nova but I couldn't help myself. Had to check out how it works. I assume a B&M is a meet of some sort. I'm drawing a blank on the "B" part, other than to think "breakfast" or better yet "buffet" I'm a CB base station operator too and an expert level show car paint polisher. Groups from our local CB channel meet Saturday morning over breakfast at the "East Shore Diner" in Harrisburg, and the auto paint polishers have meets all over the place. I really enjoy going to these meets and putting a face to a name/cyber/radio personality. Will be checking out the PA stuff for sure. Have a wonderful day and a terrific weekend too!!
