Hello everyone, been vaping for 6 months:vapor: been using ego twist and a Kanger Tech mini protank 2 1.8ohms. just ordered a nemis clone and looking to leanr more and more about the mechanical mod world.

If any on have any relevant link please feel free to suggest them. I will be searching a lot over the next few days and I'm excited to get to make new friends:toast: and set-up my vaping up to the next level.

if you all have any questions for me feel free to ask.

I'm new here too lots of good info lots of reading I also have a nemesis clone really love it, if it's not in my hand I must have dropped it when i fell asleep

Couldn't do that with a real gig lol. But tell me more about you names did you Kick it (something I just started reading about uncertain of it's value)? And what tank do you use? I've been thinking about using my protank since its 1.8ohm, i think it will work well>

Hi! I am brand new and I think I am currently right where you are graduating from. I currently have an ego twist and protankII's. So far I love it and I can't wait until I am where you are. I, obviously, don't have any advice for you, but I wish you good luck with your new set-up!

Ill take a pic once I get it

Hi Kevin, and welcome to the forum :toast:

Wife and I have a place in Scottsdale, so we're neighbours for part of the year.

The nemesis is a truly great mech mod and it does fit a kick well - just use all the rings they give you (including the little one, which is just for use with the kick). The kick gives you some battery protection (for shorts and over draining), regulates the voltage output (for a consistent vape), and allows you to adjust the wattage (to dial the power output up or down). These are all good things to have, especially if you're going to top it with any kanger tank - it gives you the protection and control of a regulated device like a vamo, zmax, or provari.

Later on, if you want to get into rebuildables, the nemi will do you proud with any topper - drippers, genisis tanks, kayfuns, taifuns, etc. It's a very good general use mech to have. Please do all your research before getting in to the rebuildable scene, though - there is much to know about Ohm's Law, battery safety, and so forth.

Happy Vaping.

You REALLY might be screwing the pooch going with a Mech. Mod when your staying with Clearos/cartos. WHEN such time comes around, that you DO actually get into Rebuildables, THEN, you will need a Mech. Aside from The afore mentioned Rebuildables, it has little prcatical application kicked or not. A vv or vw, or both, is much more convienient at this stage, and will even work admirably with a rebuildable as long as you keep resistance SENSIBLE. The downside of keeping resistance sensible, could be us never hearing from you again, STAY with the group. Keep above 1.5, and stay alive! NEVER guaranteed, but, a HECK of alot better chance of it, than going staight into Sub Ohming. I'd even DONATE a 1.4-1.5 dripper, I have a CRAP load. Even some Kanger Protank 2's I rebuilt the coils on, and put a 1.3 ohm Micro coil in, on silica. 1.3, because It turned out that way, I was looking for 1.5 ;-) Sometimes, with building coils, it works that way. I have both a Fluke model 77 handheld, (very accurate handheld digital volt/ohm/current meter), a desktop Fluke, and 2 O'scopes, i'VE BUILT hundreds of coils, and I can STILL screw them up. ANYONE can. Please be very careful, and DO NOT even try it with out a DECENT Ohmeter, or a DVOM. (digital volt ohm meter), I saw the earlier dig about acronyms. ;-)
