congrats on making the switch I quit smoking the dirty tobacco over a year ago and I am a full time vapor now, over the time I have had many different equipment and use a many different products I am now about ready to start mixing my own juices and I'm really excited about it but I am a bit lost as to where to start but wanted to just say one you see how much you can save with gaping alone it will really help with you will kicking the cigs for good. Good luck Md just keep trying to cut back each one you don't smoke and go for your edit instead is a victory in itself. All those other chemicals they use in the cigarette is awful. Knowing what your putting into your body is one of the main reason I decided to switch. Good luck new guy and welcome to to world of vapors

Hey every one!

So, just started Vaping a week ago, and well, what better way to learn some new tips and tricks then to see what the veterans say! :D
So, I mainly started to cut back if not stop all together, smoking. Been a smoker for a bit over 10 years and so far I'm really enjoying vaping.

Hi new guy I'm a new guy to :)

You already sound like you love vaping so quitting the smokes should be easy.I quit a 15 year habit 7 months ago with vaping and it was the best decision i have ever made, keep it up, i actually find vaping more satisfying than smoking.

Honestly, I started vaping because of the money, right now I need to keep a tight budget so switching (altought the timing is kinda bad for me) seems like a good idea, however, after a few days of Vaping, and my first taste of coffee flavored juice a few days in, I realized just how good this actually is! :D
Mixing my own juice sound complicated for me right now, but I'm sure it'll be easy for you once you get tough a batch or two. Right now I'm just trying to figure out the best and cheapest way maintain/switch the coil of my evod... :D

Welcome! I'm new here too. Only been vaping for 3 months haha anyway congrats though, kicking the habit is a tough battle. Vaping just seems so much more..........satisfying
Exactly why I'm starting to commit to vaping, satisfying is the just right word. I've cut back from 1/1.5 paks a day to 5 to 10 cigs, which in it self is satisfying alone! :D

I've got an evod twist 2 with an Aerotank on the way!

Great choice to start vaping. I suspect you'll find that enjoy it more and more, and smoking less and less. I think you'll also like the aerotank. I have two, which I bought with the intention of using them as back-up, but like them a lot more than I expected. I'm vaping on one now, because I forgot to charge my mod, and I can't vape an RTA on a spinner.

Right now I'm just trying to figure out the best and cheapest way maintain/switch the coil of my evod...

Those darned coils were the reason I eventually bought a couple of RTAs. When you get to that point though, it's not extremely difficult to rebuild kanger coils, but there's some upfront expense in doing it, most importantly an ohmmeter.

My old coils were horizontal an they .... the bed after about a week. Since I vape quite heavily on 30W. Buying a replacement coil here is about £3. Cheapest way is to vape at a lower Wattage so they'll last longer :(

Ya, I have some tanks of various flavors and I wind my own coils for some of them. I calculated it out and it costs me 6 cents (0.06) every two weeks for coils and 16 cents (0.16) for for wicking for two weeks. That is almost next to nothing. On my tanks that have stock coils then they also cost me about 3 dollars apiece.

Only 6cents?!? A total of 22cents? Damn. I need to learn how to recoil and rewick myself hahaha

Ya, you do ;) ... I make my own juice and calculated that it costs me 1.36 cents per month if I vape 2ml per day and if I vape 4ml per day then it only costs me 2.72 per month and so on :)
