So I got a question.
As I said before, I got a evod Mega 1900mAh, which I am using for over a week now. I noticed the other day that the battery heats up when charging (USB), today however, it got really hot. Right now it doesn't do any damage, just pretty hot to touch, I guess on the verge of to hot to touch... I'm guessing that's not normal... Any ideas as to why that is happening?
I just tried to charge it with my phone usb adapter, its output is at 1500mA, same thing... I read that its recommended that the output should be 500mA, but I also read that the adapter wont give an output higher than required by the battery... Besides, I only got the micro usb charger cable with the battery.
I just saw the video of the battery exploding next to the bartender, so I'm a bit concerned. Any ideas as to why this is happening, is it normal and can I make sure that it doesn't over heat?

1900mAh? Isn't the normal battery 18650mAh? Usually they have their own chargers right? Like you wouldn't normally charge a 18650 battery with a USB. You'd buy a battery specific charger. Could be wrong though, I'm no expert. If it gets that hot it could only be a matter of time before something happens. :(

Yeah, this one is 1900mAh, guess that's why they call it "Mega". And yeah, as I said, it came with a micro usb charger cable, but no adapter for it. So far been charging it trough my laptop, and it came to this...
I don't think using different adapters should effect differently, I use a variety of adapters to charge different gadgets and stuff (who can really follow which is which), at least not these days. I do believe if it has a direct charge, without any limiters, it can overcharge and thus harm the battery, but I read that adapter today limit the output to what is required... But in the and, I ain't no expert ether, that's why I'm asking in some one maybe has any experience with this kind of situation.
